COPD and panic attacks
I have been assessed and am now waiting for
counselling
. I was put on Certraline and Valium last week. All this was brought on by damage to my lung caused by the previous surgery. I now don't know if I can go back to work because of the panic attacks.

Any one had ACT counselling or One to one
Sad to hear one to one
counselling
no longer cost effective for tenovus. Has anyone out there benefitted in the past? What is this ACTive package that's replacing it?

Hi Guys, So I went back to counseling with my psychiatrist and i explained to him that i was nervous to take medication because of what I've been reading... Instead of him reassuring me of positivity he said if I don't want to take medication he doesn't know how to help me... Like WOW. It seems like

She told me to keep up my fitness and eat more fibre as well as
counselling
. I've been seeing a therapist for the last 2 weeks which has helped me a lot, and made me realise I really do struggles with having no control, which I have read a lot of similar stories on here.

Counselling
helps hugely,, Realised that true friends are the best support network xxxx Here if any of you need to vent .. :) Was so alone and private for so long, know now that just typing or saying thoughts out loud helps to identify issues.. x

Help
Right now I'm basically useless. I'm so depressed that I can't get up and walk two steps without being feeling exhausted and sick. I regularly think about suicide. I need to go to counseling, but I can't until the next semester of my university starts because then the price will be included in my tuition

Telling My Father In-Law about my GAD and Figuring Out How to Explain It
I enjoy talking with my father in law. He's so nice and accepting...except when it comes to mental illness. GAD has been apart of my life since I was in 3rd grade. I've gone to counseling, been diagnosed, and strive everyday to not have a panic attack over minuscule aspects of my life but will never

Tinnitus questions and answers.
Unless regular
counselling
is offered wearing white noise generators alone is not likely to be successful and the reason is this: Through regular
counselling
sessions there is a gradual retraining of the way a person thinks about tinnitus and to treat it as non life threatening.

Medication for GAD and Health anxiety
The doctor told me and had referred me to
counselling
but, he told me that the chances of getting seen or being spoken too are very slim due to the nature of the mental health services under the NHS.

Out of options.
My 9 year old has ADHA. He's been diagnosed with it since the age of 6..I've asked my ex-wife to seek counseling for him before choosing the meds as a last resort. "Oh I know, totally for sure!" She said. But she still went for the meds. Pissed me the hell off when she totally went over my head and
