I'm Gene Tarwid. I volunteer at The MS Society in Bonita Springs Fl. giving support to both people with MS and caregivers. L have over 30 years of experience doing counseling and wanted to be available to people in nee since I hav retired from full time work. I am still a part time teaching assistant in the Applief Psychology Department ay Hodges University in Fort Myers Fl..

Welcome to the group!

I have experienced the folks here as being wonderfully supportive. No doubt you recognize the tremendous need MS patients have for support in many different areas, and it is unique here as we all understand only too well what the others are going through. (Or, if we don't understand fully ourselves, we'll learn from someone who does, and who is willing to share an insight!)

Anyway, how did you first begin to be interested in MS patients?
