Information from your doctor
I have Osteoporosis and 3 fractured vertibrae with chronic pain. My question is, I had a full hysterectomy when I was 40 and was on HRT for 15 years. Unfortunately I had breast cancer and was taken off the HRT. No one tells you that your bones will suffer as a result, I also need cortisone inhalors

Has anyone had to go off NDT and back on T4 only...?
About a week ago, I went off NDT and back on T4 only, after developing a host of strange symptoms in recent months: intense carb cravings and weight gain, intense itching, dry, flaky skin, racing heart, hair loss and heat and exercise intolerance being the most noticeable ones. I have gained 25 kilograms

Weird feeling after B12 jab
I have had B12 jabs for about 40 years. In SA you used to be able to get them easily. I used to have the Cyno plus a b complex jab. In UK I have bought Hydroxy from Amazon De - Rotexmedica B12 Depot brand and take a BComplex supplement. I am on Cortisone for an autoimmune disease - weaning slowly (currently

Just an update
I have been off of Zytiga a little over 4 months. I have no recent PSA data to report. My next blood draw is still a few months away. I could have a PSA but why? I am cancer free until told otherwise. On other fronts, morning glory and spontaneous erections are now a regular occurrence. Urine flow is

So I went to the doctor's today and he said that I have chronic coccal pharyngitis, and my nose sockets are too narrow. So as a result everything that gets past my larynx irritates my throat and trigers cough that is basically allergic... And that from my nose I am not properly oxygenated and that's

HOW TO GET CORTISONE INJECTION IN THE UK on NHS
I was diagnosed with PMR in February. Then put on prednisone. I have high blood pressure and have read that if one has high blood pressure one should have injections instead of tablets as these have fewer side effects. I can get this privately but my Doctors NHS surgery refuses to let me have injections

Nerve Damage in Shoulder - Where Do I Go From Here?
Apologies for what is probably going to be a long post as I try to condense 5 and a half years of severe shoulder pain into one post! I have experienced (what went from sporadic to constant) shoulder pain, paired with a "clunking" sensation since late 2013. I have been passed from consultant to consultant

Constant Pain in right thigh/hip.
Hi. Was wondering if anyone had problems getting doctors & specialists to listen to your condition? I had 5 miscarriages before I had tests for APS. Then I went to St Mary's Hospital in London, got diagnosed with APS & 9 months later we had our son. We then moved to Australia & I am having terrible pains

My new drug cocktail
Having had ongoing issues with painful swollen knees I have added leflunomide to my prednisolone and hydroxychloroquine. My rheumy still believes I have PMR (diagnosed March 2016) but believes something else is at play with my knees as she said she hasn’t seen it present in large joints in the way mine
