How do you make people understand?
Hello, I have been struggling with hip/knee pain for almost 10 days by now,
cortisone
is not being that helpful and I think I am only alive because of Aspirin. Anyways, I feel like it's extremely difficult to make people understand that despite the fact I am walking around, going to school etc.

PMR or Ra
She did 1
cortisone
shot in my shoulder. And brought up the dreaded medicine Methotrexite. I got a second opinion from Orthopedic doctor. He said I might need arthscopic surgery to have fluid removed. Should I ask doctor for blood test RF, ANTI-CCP and ANA before I go on MXT?

The injections the orthopedic doctor gave me of
cortisone
was like a miracle. I only hope it last. Thanks for "listening" to all my complaints.

Lots more tests following endo appointment
I posted a few days ago for a bit of advice due to persistent low cortisol and being very symptomatic despite really good thyroid results and vitamin levels. I saw the endocrinologist at the Liverpool royal and I have to say she was fantastic! I was in there for about 45 minuets so apologies if you were

Slightly desperate...
I am just so desperate because this is the last try for
cortisone
to stop my joint pains...I just want it to not hurt anymore because it simply interferes with everything.

Sticks and stones
So had my MRI on lower back and neck and now I have been booked in for
cortisone
injections in my neck. Apparently there are two different areas and they won't do both injections on the one day so I have to go a week apart and it will cost $1400. Ouch.

Cortisone and acne?
So I'm sure all of us here are really familiar with taking
cortisone
thanks to our bronchiectasis. I wanted to ask if any of you have found a link between
cortisone
and acne? If so, how do you cope with it? I am 27 and have never had problem skin.

Please any advice on recent lab results
Hello everyone, I hope today finds you well and in decent health. Quick re-cap here - primary diagnosis of M.E./C.F.S. Low cortisol as per 24hr saliva test. Sub-clinical hypothyroidism. Am currently taking 12.5mcg of T3 at 3.30am to strengthen my adrenals and raise morning cortisol as per Paul Robinson

Gluteal Tendinopathy
I have just had a
cortisone
injection near hip but it's not very effective. I need to do an exercise programme although I am still in pain. Has any one embarked on a rehabilitation programme with my same condition and what have found most effective in getting you better and pain free?

Serum Cortisol Test Result Help
Hi to everyone I'd be grateful if someone can interpret this test result I've just had done? Possibly another piece of the jigsaw! Serum CORTISOL 213 nmol/L [185.0 - 624.0] tested at 9.30am I can't afford the private Saliva one just yet. Thanks SallyB

Saliva Test Results - Potentially Low Cortisol?
All, I wonder what you would say about these saliva cortisol results? My AM cortisol looks ok, but then it goes downhill after that and each result is borderline low. Would you treat this with hydrocortisone? I plan to ask my holistic doctor on Tuesday but was curious as to your responses. Thank
