Gluteal Tendinopathy

I have been diagnosed with Gluteal Tendinopathy with hip bursitis and have been in pain for over 18 months when climbing stairs walking and sleeping on either side. MRI shows my tendons are worn out. I have just had a cortisone injection near hip but it's not very effective. I need to do an exercise programme although I am still in pain. Has any one embarked on a rehabilitation programme with my same condition and what have found most effective in getting you better and pain free?

I am sorry your condition is painful for you. Has your GP suggested any exercises for you to do? Is it at all possible you could ask for a referral to a physio as they will be better placed to give you specific exercises to go with your condition,
