Seeing podiatrist next week but all they’ve ever offered is shots of

High T3 and low body temperature?
Hey, thyroid friends! Im a bit lost about my symptoms and las blood work. Any advice and idea will be welcome. I was on 50mcgt4/15mcgt3 and was feeling anxious and heart symptoms described below and go down to 25mcgt4/10mcgt3. For the last 10 days I decided to go t3 only (back to 15 mcg). And after those

When a 'side effect' is a BIG 'effect' ... more on tendons
It makes me laugh to read some people have
CORTISONE
injections to assist with this - although it is interesting my pain level is at its highest when my Pred level is likely at its lowest.

Happy Update 🌝
It seems I have responded well to
cortisone
injections in both shoulders and Xeljanz. For the first time in three years I am walking again. I am currently walking 5 miles a day minimum. I am still tired but getting it done. I quit smoking in May.

Steroid injection for psa
(Had
cortisone
ones before but they were injected into the actual joint) if you’ve had one has it been effective? Also were there any side effects?

Adrenal fatigue
Hi everyone I have incredibly low cortisol all day and night and this assume I’ve got adrenal fatigue. I’ve been taking vitamin C and drinking liquorice root tea since discovering it. I mentioned it to an endocrinologist and she took a blood test to see what it said as a Random Sample. What should I

Follow up on haematologist appointment for sharp rise in lymphocytes.
Hello everybody hope you are all well, my visit to the haematologist today didn't go the way I was hoping, he says the sudden increase in my lymphocytes is caused by the CLL and not the
cortisone
, so I have to go back onto treatment, Bendamustine and Rituxan, it will take a couple of weeks to motivate

Cortisol levels
I looked for a community on Addison’s disease or adrenal problems but unfortunately there isn’t one so I thought this community would be the best to ask this in! I recently went to my doctors to ask him to carry out a Cortisol blood test as I have a lot of symptoms of both low and high but I thought

Sharp increase in my lymphocyte count.
I would love anyone's opinion on why this should have happened, I thought maybe the
cortisone
had an affect, but when I had treatment it suppressed my lymphocytes. Looking forward to any kind of feedback you may have. Thank you 😊

Hypothyroid. Increase Iron? New blood test results.
I am a 35 year old male. 72 kg, 6 ft. Hypothyroid for at least 15 years, probably most of my life but didn't know it. Living in New Zealand. This is a long post, but in a nutshell, I'm taking Slow Release T3 (SRT3), but it is not working as expected. I think I need to improve how cells use it, specifically

21yr old son finally got blood results back
Hi all, I have been battling my sons (21yr old) health for over 3 or 4 years now and it is an exhausting journey! Finally his blood tests have crept upwards and am hoping that the GP will look at them tomorrow, seeing that they are not 'normal' after all! Please can someone help me because I've forgotten

Hopefully not an MS thing...
I went to a hip doctor who gave me a
cortisone
shot in the bursa and told me if the pain comes back, see a back doctor. The shot worked for 6 days. So I call the back doctor. Had to wait 2 weeks (Advil taken constantly).

At my wits end! Months of ill health and multiple and conflicting endo opinions.
I subsequently miscarried but post miscarriage I was diagnosed with very low
cortisone
and Addison's Disease. I had 3-4 Short Synacthen tests (SSTs), some of which I failed. I did not wish to embark on taking
cortisone
and gradually my levels improved to what they call 'borderline'..

DUTCH Test Results
I have suspected Hashimotos disease. I've had my DUTCH test sex hormones results and I'd really like to discuss them with a medic rather than nutritionist. Is there an Endo or Gynae in the UK who would accept this test and prescribe against it if necessary? I have severely low cortisol, testosterone

Cortisone shot
Well, I lived through the dreaded
cortisone
shot in my bursa (hip) this morning. As the ortho doctor was leaning over my expose, naked backside I told him he was viewing my best side. Trying to make light of the ginormous needle he was about to stick into me!
