Cortisone injections

I have just been to see the pain specialist and i am now to have 6 injections in my spine,........ 3 either side of my spine, in the lumber region, has anyone else had this ?

Hi nelly , i had this done , it is a bit uncomfortable, but not too bad as its over quickly. They helped at the time but one of my disc slipped a few months later and i had a discectomy which has been a great success 8 weeks post op, im walking better after 3 years of bad pain . Good luck with the injections, let us know how you get on 😀😀

I’ve had one injection twice and both worked. I’ve now got compressed discs and nodules on some vertebrae but the pain in my other joints is worse than my back pain. I had an injection in my ankle a couple of days ago and I’m hoping that’s going to work.
