T3 tolerance and low iron/b12/cortisol
Hi everyone, I have been on 5mcg of t3 alongside my 75mcg levo for just over a week (and 10mcg the week before) and it is clearly helping - I feel more aware, my constipation and reflux has improved and most importantly for me I have been able to reintroduce some solid food and up my calories from about

Update on painful wrist
My doctor gave me a
Cortisone
shot and within 3 weeks, the inflammation was down and the pain was gone. OT (occupational therapy) and a compression glove didn't work at the time, only created more swelling. Hot and cold and raising the wrist helped but the
Cortisone
shot resolved it completely.

Bloods show low TSH AND T4 on NDT
Hi, I started Metavive II 6-7 months ago on advice of nutritionist who suggested 30mg. I raised every 2 weeks and settled on 5 caps a day. Had bloods tested without stopping Metavive and gynae was concerned at v low TSH, low normal T4. T3 was normal. I tested again after I stopped Metavive for 2 days

Humming to sudden deafness in left ear
If there is no change I’m to stop the prednisone ( cold turkey) and I will have a procedure to inject
cortisone
directly into my ear. 😫 If there is an improvement with my hearing, then I will continue with the prednisone and ASAP an MRI will be carried out...to check that there isn’t a benign Tumour

Adrenals awakening? /Enough Prednisone?/Sleeplessness.
I think that the normal level of
cortisone
is about 7 so if my Adrenals aren’t working surely 5mgs won’t be enough for my body? What does it feel like when the Adrenals start to wake up? Sorry I hope someone can understand my questions it’s a bit hard to explain what I mean.

T3, cortisol tests and adrenal function
I started T3 8 weeks ago, initially 3 times a day but then changed to twice a day (8am and 8pm) as it seemed to be affecting my sleep. When I sleep ok, I don’t go to sleep until 3am and wake at 11.30am. Endo advised 15mcg but when I take that I get very interrupted sleep so I am currently taking 12.5

Help with my results
Hi all, I have had my results back from a recent check and before I have a follow up appointment I was hoping you might be able to advise me on what my optimal results should be (because most of them say I am "normal"/ within range). I should say, before I post results, that I have stopped taking Levo

Over-medicated or Having Low Cortisol on Thyroid-S?
I just started taking Thyroid-S after being hypothyroid for two months from a bad batch of NDT. Maybe I need to give Thyroid-S more time, or maybe I need to treat the adrenals first, but I thought I'd share my experience on it so far when I take 2.5 Grains. I used to take 2.5 Grains of WP, Nature-Throid

Low Cortisol - Synacthen Blood Test
Hello, With the above test (I am due to have next week) does it need to be taken first thing in the morning? I have previously had two standard blood tests at 9.00 am which has highlighted a low cortisol reading and so a follow-up synacthen test is now being taken by the GP practice. My appointment
