You have two very different FT4 results

Presumably these are different tests, on different days

Can you explain what dose you were taking for the two different results

First result FT4 is 21.5 (12-22)

No FT3 result

TSH 0.09

Presumably on Levothyroxine alone?

How much Levothyroxine and always same brand?

Do you always get test early morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test?

Second result

FT4 10.6 (12-22) BELOW RANGE

FT3 5.1 (3.1-6.8)

TSH 0.13 - less suppressed

How much Levothyroxine?

How much T3

Do you split the dose of T3 ?

Even if you don't split dose normally, did you split dose the day before testing , with last 5mcg or 10mcg 8-12 hours prior to blood test?

Looks like you reduced Levothyroxine dose too much when you added T3 ....

Vitamin D and magnesium look a bit low

What supplements do you currently take?

You're right both T4 results were taken from different blood tests.

September FT4 was value 21.5 but upper limit. Range 12.00 - 22.00pmol/L

On that day I was on 100mcg of levothyroxine and made by the same company.

The next blood test was in November this year, results were different due to introducing T3 -Tiromel on top of reducing Levothyroxine T4.

Results were Value 10.6 pmol/L Range 12.00 - 22.00pmol/L

I reduced T4 to 75mcg T4

12.5 mcg of T3 Tiromel .

Hoping these results are good because I feel fantastic and have done a few days after changing my meds.

Dr suggested I stop taking vitamin D3 as it was too high, so she says. Wants me to have more blood tests to check D3 levels are lower and near to normal.

As usual, your GP is typical of most doctors who know very little about nutrient levels.

Vit D levels are in categories: Deficient, Insufficient, Sufficient. Each category has a range:

Deficient range is <25nmol/L

Insufficient is 25-50nmol/L

Sufficient is >50

Risk of toxicity is >220nmol/

The Vit D Council recommends a level of 125nmol and the Vit Society recommends a level of 100-150nmol.

So you could do with increasing your level.

And yes I did get tested early morning before I took any meds, 24 hrs before testing my blood.

Last dose of T3 should be 8-12 hours prior to blood test

Keep an eye on the FT4 results at next test. FT4 is dropping a lot

You may need to increase Levothyroxine.....perhaps initially 75mcg and 100mcg on alternate days

Most people with thyroid issues find vitamin D is best at least around 80nmol and around 100nmol may be better

what is 'nmol' ? Thanks for advice on T4 alternate days higher 100 and 75 other day

nmol = nanomole.

Molar quantities are used in chemistry and are, in effect, how many atoms or molecules are present in a quantity such as a litre.

Rather than me trying to explain it, have a look here:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molar...

Many abbreciations can be found in my document:

Vitamin D in UK is measured in nmol

50nmol is the absolute minimum- lower than that NHS should prescribe to increase

Until few years ago many health authorities the minimum was 75nmol. That meant more than 50% of Uk population would need GP prescriptions ....so perhaps that was why the vitamin D minimum level was reduced

Government recommends everyone supplement vitamin D October to April
