How can I tell when adrenals are coming back?
"In almost every patient the adrenal gland starts functioning again when
cortisone
is tapered, it just needs time." Got it. But are there symptoms that suggest the glands are waking up?

I was treated with
cortisone
, and everytime we tried to reduce the dose, my eczema would flare up.My dermatologist requested a CT scan and we discovered scarring on my right lung...2 days later I was admitted to the clinic, as the skin on my chest was dry and bleeding, and there was a risk of infection

Want to tell Rheumy to Jog on Or not
I have explained my position on
cortisone
injections, I have had them in various bits of my body, they are painful and although they may provide some improvement it is not complete, short lived and of no long term benefit.

Nothing for a month, now I get a message from the surgery, after consultation with the hospital they are offering me a
cortisone
blood test. I must make an early morning appointment having taken no steroids for 24 hours. Should I accept this with open arms?

odd question
Taking usual Benadryl and applying
Cortisone
which appears to have little affect. Does any one think there is a connection between PMR and Prednisone to cause this most annoying issue?

How long does
cortisone
work? Is there any asthma of that kind? The dr says its post viral as long as the environment of our city is badly polluted and I'll be symptom free sooner and that I am panicking a lot more now.

decrease in Pred after hospital admission
I was changed from pred to hydro
cortisone
as every thing had to be by IV only whilst in
hospital
. I have been getting a bit of pain across the tops of the hips at the back whilst in hospital.

child low cortisol
My 9 year old daughter has had a blood test come back with borderline low
cortisone
( that’s what the doctor has described it as). She is waiting for a test but apparently it can take months. The doctor has mentioned Addisons and under active thyroid.

Edit to add; I get
cortisone
injections in my knees every 3 months. I'm unsure if that affects anything rls-related, but it doesnt seem to.

Recap on Intense pain post
Every
cortisone
injection since has been ineffective. The pain is sharp as in nerve compression that is obviously my first suspected cause. I’ve been told by medical professionals with many years of experience that these are the first course of treatment for the herniated disks.

itchy, itchy skin?
He’s not one for moisturizing, but I’ve gotten him some
cortisone
cream in hopes of alleviating it. I feel like I’ve read people talking about itchy skin as another fun side effect of CLL; am I making that up? Has anyone else experienced/is experiencing this?

Does physiotherapy help?
So I've had a pretty "hard" manual lifestyle and have arthritis in both shoulders, already had
cortisone
injections in both shoulders, so that tells me I have worn out my joints, also to throw into the mix I've now got chronic back ache, and my left hip is "twinging " I can't sleep with my back properly

Cerebral syndrome of unknown origin
I'm writing all this because I hope that maybe someone has been experiencing similar symptoms or effects in regard to
cortisone
e.g. due to an autoimmune disease or the like... Please feel free to throw any ideas at me you might have, no matter how absurd they may seem.

B12 Deficiency, recently diagnosed, seeking advice.
I was given a
cortisone
injection from which I felt no benefit whatsoever from. I explained the GP that along with the numbness, pain and strange sensations in my arm and leg I was also experiencing a number of other "nervous related" symptoms.
