Hi guys,

(Pictures deleted)

What do you think? Have it since 3 months now already , had some betamethason ointment and momentason cream short term 2-4 weeks max. - but not really worked out, doctor do not think it’s LS … just a reg. “balanitis” and send me back Home with a drug called Tannosynt (German cortisone alternative with tannin) but not really work too… I should just come again in 3! Months … afraid that the condition will get much worse , in this time …

Bacteria and fungal tests were negative and I also used some nystatin + chlorhexidin / gentamicin creams to be sure

Thinking about pushing another doc for Dermovate / clobetasol ointment but not sure if somebody will give it to me…

- Redness (changes sometimes during the day from nearly not visible to very red - brownish - what is an early sign for LS according to the web?)

- Burning while sex

- Frenulum feels hardened since it was inflamed for some days

Never had this kind of “long lasting” problems in my penis area before , ofc some rednesses yeast infections after sex etc but everything was manageable within 1-2 weeks with standard things like mild cortisons or antiseptical creams, this thing seems not surface related and very stubborn. 😞

How does it look for you guys ? Could it be LS so my months dermovate idea could work out?

Thanks for every message 🙏

If the problem persist because of foreskin, why don't you consider to get circumcision?

Because it’s still “fresh” and first wanna try to keep the foreskin because of the feelings … heard horrible stories with lack of feelings while having sex. First I want to try all creams , change of diet for at least one year etc. But it drives me crazy that I do not know whether to try the clobetasol and if it’s a lichen type or not.

Don't take any notice of the pro circumcision activists, nature gave us a foreskin for very good reasons and a very important one is the one you mention.

Have you seen dermatologists and urologists, those who specialise in skin conditions in this area?

Do you avoid all soaps and scented cleaning products for personal hygiene. Try using only water. And for laundry have you tried natural products?

Do you scrupulously avoid allowing urine to contact this area?

One suggestion on here in the past was to leave the foreskin retracted as much as possible, even permanently until the condition improved.

Stick with the doctors and I hope you have success eventually.
