Can pregnant women get the new bivalvent Covid booster?
Hi guys, Hope you are well! Was going to go to a walk in to get my covid jab soon but not sure if pregnant women should be getting the new type (bivalent) or the old type. Does anyone know? I have asked my doctor but waiting for her to get back to me. Thank you ☺️

order of vaccinations
I had a relatively mild form of COVID in August which cleared up in a week with Paxlovid. My surgery is doing the flu vaccination on 8 Oct and I can have the 2nd shingles vaccination anytime after 21 September. Meanwhile the over 50s are being offered a COVID booster, but I suppose having had the infection

COVID, COVID Vaccone and Graves Disease Association
Hello everyone. New here, but a member of online thyroid and autoimmune communities dor decades now. Just wanted to give a heads-up to all that there is a developing correlation between COVID, the vaccine and Graves development or relapse. Lots of reliable articles and case reports out there.

COVID and PBC
I've had covid and it should be behind me I'm now at day 12 since testing positive. I'm feeling very tired and wondering if anyone else has experience of lingering tiredness from COVID. Whereas before I had the tiredness from PBC relatively under control - I was able to function fairly normally. I'm

SWITCHING TO INSULIN INJECTION FROM ORAL
As a Type 2, I have been managing my fasting sugar level of around 120 since the late 90s very successfully by following the devices of my USA-qualified Endocrinologist. My regular diet centered around LCHF with Diamicrone 80 twice a day. Covid-19 changed my whole system. After taking the 2nd dose

5th COVID shot?
Hello! I'm writing with a small quandary - In Germany, they've just rolled out the B.1 booster, but it doesn't seem we'll have the B.4/5 one anytime soon. I've had four shots and COVID; my most recent shot was in June, so I'm eligible for another one. I've got some upcoming work travel (with long flights

Is it B12 deficiency, cortisol issues or COVID related?
I had Covid in March and since then have been feeling pretty much all of the rotten signs and symptoms I had when on T4 only as well as some more awful ones indicative of B12 deficiency. My ferritin vit D but especially B12 have all taken a dive. I have always had above range B12 without supplements.

horizontal dents on fingernails
Hi all, Thanks for all the information on this forum, it’s very helpful. In the last couple of months I have noticed horizontal dents on my fingernails. I haven’t been to the doctors yet but I wondered if anyone here has experienced this too? l heard it could be an iron deficiency or a zinc deficiency

I need a CLL expert
Greetings, I am still so new to all of this and am an 'outside the box' thinker, as my body does not respond good to pharmaceuticals, so of course I always work with body, mind, soul, good eating, exercise, supplements, etc. I was diagnosed with CLL (then Dr. Davids felt I was more SLL) in Feb '22.

Upcoming vaccinations for flu and Covid
Hello everyone, This is my first post on the forum so hope it goes ok. My question is concerning the booster jab for Covid and, the usual, flu vaccination. This afternoon my local medical centre sent texts regarding the above, encouraging me to book dates for the vaccinations. I always have a flu

Wondering if the following is worthwhile: Knowing my Oncologist will probably advise against it, in the past he has told me better to deal with covid infection instead of holding CLL medication in an attempt to get a good vaccine response. 13q Muted, off Zanubrutinib since July 22nd, due to covid

I joined the Evosheld UK Facebook page where there is a strong campaign for the government to authorise Evusheld. We were asked to write to our MPs and ask for the question to raised on the House of Commons. I have written several letters to my MP and generally get a stock reply. Here is the latest
