Hello everyone. New here, but a member of online thyroid and autoimmune communities dor decades now.

Just wanted to give a heads-up to all that there is a developing correlation between COVID, the vaccine and Graves development or relapse. Lots of reliable articles and case reports out there.

I'm watching myself, levels, and antibodies closely, as I have been experiencing symptoms starting about 3 weeks after my 2nd booster.

Thankyou for that.I have graves disease and had a thyroidectomy in June this year.I will be on the lookout for any increase in graves symptoms if I am offered the booster this year.I don't know if I fall into any of the groups who will be offered it, but I've had all my others.Does this problem also happen with the flu jab?I have one of those every year even if I have to pay for it.

If you had a total thyroidectomy, then I wouldn't expect that you would become hyperthyroid. However, yes, an AI process or exacerbation could result from either vaccine, and the H1n1 flu notably so. Always confer with your doctors, qnd recommend you follow the Elaine Moore Autoimmune and Graves website for for information and updates. Can't recommend Elaine highly enough.
