I guess that I Just Can't Win!
Dear All, I have Avoided COVID, despite several 'Folk' in my Flats catching it. I also Avoided it, at my Mothers Flats too...... and have remained Covid Negative, ever since. Unfortunately I have a 'Dreadful Cold', you know, a Real STINK.ER- currently it's 3:25AM and I'm Sipping 'Hot Lemon, with Honey

COVID - finally caught up with me
After nearly 3 years of shielding, COVID caught up with me on boxing Day. It was a shock when the LFT draw a line almost instantaneously. I spoke to the Haematology emergency contact staff at around 9.00am Boxing day, and received a callback from a doctor within the hour. I was prescribed Paxlovid

Antihistamines for Post Covid Symptoms?
Hi, a few weeks ago I tested positive for Covid… It caused an asthma flare but my Fostair and Ventolin along with a course of Dexomethasone steroids seemed to have kept it manageable… Although the actual illness passed very quickly (temp, awful throat, horrible barking coughing fits) I have been left

Any connections between bibasilar atelectasis, autoimmune diseases, Covid infections and/or Covid vaccinations?
Hello everyone, just wondered if anyone has any info on the above? I had a CT scan in November of the abdomen to check out my bladder and kidneys and it picked up bibasilar atelectasis and nodules <3 cm in both lungs. I got the letter just before Christmas, so will follow up with GP in the New Year.

13 days on +5mg but still not completely sorted. Link to covid jab? Also dex scan disappointing.
After chat on here with PMRpro and others I added 5mg. I had gone through an awful fatigue etc very slow drop from 6.5mg to 6mg. It took me about 5 weeks and was feeling good after 2 weeks on 6 every day but stiffness started at week3. Now had 13 days on higher dose...11/12mg.It was better some days

I have asthma and bronchietasis and tested positive for covid. What have others done ? I have a rescue pack. Have others started it right away or wait and see how it pans out? Appreciate other peoples experiences. Thank you in advance.

Newly diagnosed
I still feel unsure as the information I have been given is quite sketchy. My initial fibroscan in July 2022 seemed to be quite disconcerting as had a liver stiffness of 41.9Kpa with CAP 400, which apparently is the most they could record, so was a little concerned. But nothing was really discussed

tinnitus and neck pains
Hello, I’ve had tinnitus for many years but I’ve noticed how loud it’s become over the last couple of years. I wonder how much covid has got to do with it (first time of having covid - followed by 6 months of long covid - in March 2020 and second time April this year). Apart from that, I’m also suffering
