I guess that I Just Can't Win!

Dear All,

I have Avoided COVID, despite several 'Folk' in my Flats catching it. I also Avoided it, at my Mothers Flats too...... and have remained Covid Negative, ever since.

Unfortunately I have a 'Dreadful Cold', you know, a Real STINK.ER- currently it's 3:25AM and I'm Sipping 'Hot Lemon, with Honey', having Taken two Paracetamol...... the 'closest' that I can Get to Cold Medication, with my Condition.

I have little, or No, Climate Sense- which means I'm 'Altering' My Heating, almost At Will- a Good Job that I have a Well Maintained, and Responsive, Boiler!

I think that I will wait until the Medication 'Kicks In', before going Back To Bed.

Andrew, we are assuming that you have tested for Covid as our positive Covid started as what we thought were colds/chest infection. My other thought is that you need to check your Hot Lemon remedy as they often contain paracetamol & if you're taking 2 of those as well, it may be too much in one go. Please just check.

Hope you recover soon. Also hope it isn’t covid. I know a few people who never tested positive on a lateral flow (even though they had the same symptoms as everyone else in their house who tested positive) and others who only tested positive on day 7.

Update, About 11pm Thursday 29/ December/ 2022

I'm feeling 'Quite A lot Better' but have, completely 'Lost' Any Sense Of Time. I have been Awake, during the night, asleep in the day..... and ALL the In Betweens!

I have 'Done' many Covid Tests, all negative- fortunately, being in the 'At Risk' Group, I can still Order these for free.

I Hope to be 'Up' around 8AM tomorrow and have a Shower, Teeth Cleaned etc well erm - Certainly before Lunch anyway! (Ok if I'm not Up until the pm and not showered before four.....)

Incidentally, and I may not have made this clear-sorry- I make my Own Honey & Lemon Drinks and Occasionally take Paracetamol alongside them. I need to be Very Careful, about my Paracetamol intake- No more that Four, in Twenty four hours (though I have taken six- once and only once).

Thank you for your Concern, my Friends, I'll stay 'In Touch'.

Many rhinoviruses are around plus flu. Look after yourself and seek medical help if you get breathing difficulties or if you feel that you are developing a chest infection, you may need antibiotics.

there s a horrible cold going around which caused a lot of coughing

It’s taken me 2 weeks to start to feel human

Medicated with paracetamol and lemsip drinks
