Totally unexpected as suddenly started having angina after exercise .. just two months later the chest tightness started and has never improved. It decreases slightly on rest and even a conversation lasting more than 15 minutes increases

Had my telephone consultation yesterday and the cardiologist was so nice and answered all of my questions which has also helped me feel a little less nervous. I am on the list for a stent in possibly Jan/Feb/March.But who knows with this blooming Covid! Apparently I shall have lifelong Clopidigrol after

Do they know how I am?
I'm kind of celebrating. 6 months have passed since my heart attack and subsequent stent. In that time I've upped my exercise levels, changed my diet based upon my own research, and reduced my BMI from 30 to 23. During this time I have had cause to contact my GP and hospital a number of times. A couple

MVD/CAS and ganglian block
Has anyone had a ganglian block done to try alleviate some of the chronic pain? Meds not helping, going to have a stent soon as there is 76% block on RCA. Whilst this may not help with the mvd or CAS the cardiologist has suggested being referred for a ganglian block if there is no improvement after stent

BETA BLOCKER
I know these sounds weird, but I ran out of Beta Blocker for a few days and guess what I no longer have ectopics beats. I cannot believe that they were the cause, but they must have been. I was initially prescribed them when I had palpitations before I had a stent fitted and they work a charm, but after

Eight months into good heart recovery and then , surprise surprise, hello Parkinsons! How does one affect the other?
Have any of you experienced both? I doubt it's good news, I imagine a battle between my recovery - very good so far - and PD. With 2 new valves an Atriclip and a CABG, I was told to expect 18months for recovery (thats confirmed in scientific papers) so I'm wondering who's the hare and who - or what

Should I go to A and E
Just had to use my gtn for the first time in 10 months. I’ve been really good and then those old feelings are back. It’s been a year since my stent. Gtn worked and feel ok now. Should I go to AandE ? Or call the doc?

Where Is MichaelJH?
I imagine many of you have wondering why I have been quiet for a while. Shortly after the start of lockdown I was bowled the ****** ****** (fill in with your choice of words) of all curved balls! I was having treatment for an ingrowing toenail on my left foot. Suddenly the wound started getting worse

310 Lb., 66 Year Old Man 11 Weeks After Cabbage.
I just signed up. I hope I can learn from all of you and contribute to the forum. I’ve had a couple of periods of time when I was in athletic tip-top physical shape at 210 lbs., but most of my life I’ve been a pig. I’m not a small fat man... I’m a stout large boned fat man... Based on many bone measurements

Today he now has swelling of foot and scrotum? Please someone tell me what this is? He’s going to the dr. Tomorrow to get a catheter or replace
