Hello everyone, it is with great pleasure that I am able to update you with the news that my Urologist felt confident enough to finally remove my Uterer stent yesterday, hurray!! πππ This day has been 10 months in the making and comes after 9 rounds of Chemo, ADT and 20 VMAT radiation sessions.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone on this forum for their words of support and pearls of wisdom. Also for sharing scientific references which helps to educate all of us and informs our choices as we naviagate our personal journeys, thank you all. Cheers, πDD

Hi Tom, my Urologist did the procedure during a Cystoscopy with a general anesthetic so didn't feel a thing. But my poor willy is a bit sore from the Cystoscope. I did not know whether I would wake up with a new stent or be stent free. It was a great relief to be told by the nurse that I no longer had a stent. WooHoo indeed!!!!! ππππ
Make sure you ask your doctor for the stent and then have it bronzed and affixed to a plaque on your wall next to your bronzed baby shoes....Memories...
