Returning to work

Hi there, I'm new to here, i had a heart attack late August and I had had pain for about three weeks prior to the attack, my doctor had advised me that i had angina and gave me the spray to use when needed, at the time i only got the pain whilst walking my dogs, so i would use the spray and stop for a while. Then one night i was woken with pain and the spray did not help, i ended up calling 999 and was rushed to the Royal Free with a stent being fitted within half an hour, also 2 blot clots were dispersed. So here i am 3 months on and i still feel shattered from all of the medication which they are still adjusting. Also my heart was quiet damaged, they said it was pumping 30, this has now improved to 38 and another repeat echo in 3 months. They did say it was borderline for a pacemaker, but hopefully the medication can do this instead. Can i ask when did people return to work, i have a very physical job, i work in a kitchen. My doctor has said not yet as i have been though something major. Can i ask opinions on this please? By the way i am 47.

Hello

Only help I can offer is you will know when you return to work if it was to soon or not !!

Seeing so you have around 29 years left to work until pension no need to rush it !!

From what I know an EF of 38 is around the mark for consideration of a pacemaker also depending on your score on the NYHA scale
