Prostate stage 4
My dad has Stage 4 prostate cancer which spread to his kidneys. He has a stent in, and he recently had swelling in his foot and penis. The Er said he had a uti. Today he now has swelling of foot and scrotum? Please someone tell me what this is? He’s going to the dr. Tomorrow to get a catheter or replace

Post Coronary Stent Questions
Hello All , I've recently had 3 coronary stents , but no rehab because local hospital says Covid-19 means all rehab is cancelled . Just wanted to know how I should be feeling 6 weeks after stenting , what i should be doing etc, should i still be feeling sore?

Routine check ups after CABG x5
I’m just asking out of curiosity - my husband had a quintuple bypass in Canada 2 years ago. We came back to the U.K. last August and gave the doctor all his records. Do people have annual checks with a cardiologist here or if you are ok is that it?

Stent 6 yrs
So I was 36 had a heart attack 1 stent fitted ok since then minimal to no damage on all the meds. Saw my cardiologist once but never again. Why am I not under a consultant and why do I never have any scans or anything to make sure I'm still ok?

Zytiga and prednisone, bowel problems
Hi, my husband has been on Zytiga and prednisone for about 3 months, he also has a kidney stent due to prostate pressing on lymph node which in turn was blocking urine flow. His bowel habits have changed since then, ie loose stools and regularity changed. Anyone else with these problems? Thank you

Re: Lindaura/Laura - Thanks to Ovacome community
Dear All, This was originally in the long thread following my post about my mother's passing, but i wanted to make sure people saw it and read about how invaluable they have been and about the need to be safe from the things that contributed to my mother's suffering. Love and gratitude to all who write

Overlapping stents and chest pain niggles after exercise
My cardiologist is phoning me later today to discuss my intermittent chest pain niggles over the last nearly 2 weeks (at rest and with exercise). I eventually managed to get a copy of the notes from the cardiologist that performed my angioplasty and 4 stents. It said : "I placed a 2.5 *18mm Xience drug-eluting

Home! Update
Had
angioplasty
today and had critical blockage in right
coronary
artery and that got stented, and what we thought was a severe blockage in the LAD (what the ct scan showed). turned out to be not too bad and was ballooned and was stable to be left without a stent. So I have 1 stent!

Does anyone know what natural supplement I can take to lower early morning blood sugar while taking Clopidogrel and baby aspirin?
I recently had one heart stent put in. 99% blockage, and took me by surprise. Drove myself to the ER, really not knowing I was having a heart problem. I thought it was arthritis. Afterwards I was put on Clopidogrel and a baby aspirin. But before I had the stent put in I noticed that my blood sugar started

Dear all, My incredibly beautiful, vibrant, amazing and brilliant mother passed away at about 22:30 on Monday night, October 12, 2020. Linda (a.k.a. Laura) Lubitz Dunlap. She was an extremely youthful 73. She was in the RUH here in Bath, in the Waterhouse ward. She had been receiving palliative care

Has anyone had hepatic artery narrowing?
Dear All, I am back here again absolutely dumbfounded. My husband had a chance CT scan which revealed narrowing of the artery join to the aorta (he had an aneurysm repaired some years ago). The team decided to get him in for a stent. Well, after a lot of deliberation and and hesitation. They did not

Lansoprazole opinion
Good morning everyone hope you are all well. I am fast approaching my first anniversary of my HA and angioplasty. My repeat prescription shows I will stop taking the ticagrelor and lansoprazole. At a review earlier in the year my GP said he would recommend that I stay on the lansoprazole long term to

With hindsight, what do you wish you'd known when you had your first diagnosis of Parkinsons
I'm new here, but already signed up with the 'heart' section after having 2 new valves, an atriclip and a CABG in February this year.I had a stroke in 2016!Whatever next! Parkinsons is the answer - and I'm determined to fight that too with your help - what a wonderful brother/sisterhood you are. Typing
