Coronary angioplasty

Hi, It's been 3 weeks now since my balloon angioplasty (in two separate coronary arteries). I accepted I might feel a little sore /discomfort (stretch pain?)

3rd day after coronary angioplasty and feeling worse. I'm very cold and extremely tired with headache and aching muscles. Is this usual. I'm struggling to get from chair to kitchen to make a drink. Will there be light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Doctors later found a 95% blockage in one of my arteries, and I underwent a balloon angioplasty procedure. Prior to my event my diet was pretty bad and I didn’t really control my blood pressure to well. I also developed ectopic heartbeats.

I had 95% blockage on my artery and had a ballon angioplasty procedure. I am really worried and I scared for the future even though doctors have advised if I stick to my meds and make lifestyle changes I should go on to live a normal life but I can’t keep stop worrying.

In 2023 I suffered a heart attack - very lucky and it was dealt with by angioplasty but I now remain in the meds- bisopronol, ramipril, statin and aspirin. Through 2024 I felt in good health.

Avoid taking supplements immediately before or following angioplasty. Diabetic patients should take vitamin C supplements with care as it raises blood sugar levels. ANOTHER IMPORTANT CAUTION WHILST TAKING ADHD STIMULANTS-Vitamin C supplements may affect how well some ADHD medications are absorbed.

hello all, I had a non-stemi back in December followed by an emergency angioplasty with three stents fitted into three furred up arteries. The final artery was the back one and had been blocked for years by all accounts.

Due to have Angioplasty this week after procedure is there much pain not sure whether they are going to use arm or groin- several people have told me to expect a lot of pain afterwards now worrying about coping at home.

Hello, I have an angioplasty on 20th January, and I find swallowing fingers and pain in my fingers each morning. Also I feel a pain in my arm where a inserted cuateter was. I v been to my doctor and he said that that is ussual/ normal for person with tiny and curved arteries.

After an emergency angioplasty and high Triponin levels of 3000, I was released after a week. Since then, I e seen the inherited cardio team, they were testing for AMC, results came back negative. Infectious diseases dept, results came back negative.

My cardiologist says my heart is fine since an angioplasty procedure in November but AF seems more regular now than before I had it done.
