all of a sudden platelets count is dropping
this is my leg the first time my platelet level dropped. I sent this picture to my GP who called me within 10 minutes to come in to see him. A blood test showed my platelet level was on the lower level of normal. My haematology nurse phoned and told me to drop a Hydroxy tablet on a Wednesday and was

DE FET for a sibling
Hello lovelies, I haven’t posted on here for a while but I do pop in now and then and I reply when I can. Our DE baby is nearly 11months and as I have said on previous posts, to all those worried about using DE due to the lack of genetics - don’t. It rarely even occurs to me that he hasn’t got any

Endometrioma pain
hi, looking for some advice - during IVF my doctor discovered an Endometrioma, it’s less than 2cm in size but since starting treatment it’s become more and more painful. (Size has remained the same after 3 rounds) It’s such an intense stabbing pain - is it normal for such a small cyst to cause such

5 failed cycles, need some hope
Hi, I’m an avid reader of posts on these forums but never thought I’d be one to post but I’m desperate for some hope. 36, 3years TTC, 4 failed IUI, 2 failed FET and 3 failed fresh IVF cycles. It feels like we’re going backwards with each cycle rather than forwards with fertilisation rates and embryo

First IVF round - thought it was a success, but lost it very early 💔 Disappointed with the clinic as well...
It was our first IVF round (unexplained infertility) with a fresh, hatching embryo transfer. We had a good chance to succeed, and... the test turned out positive at 11dpt. I couldn't believe it, it was the first time in my life I saw 2 lines, even rather faint! I was sooooooo happy, but then... The

Drained and need a break
hey everyone, Hope everyone is doing ok, although I know that’s probably not the case with most. I’ll be turning 40 in 3 weeks time and about to start my 2nd (last nhs funded) ivf cycle in the next 2 weeks. I had my 1st cycle last month which sadly resulted in a negative test, and the week before

Adenomyosis and implantation - anyone had experience?
Hi, I had a growth removed in August which revealed I have adenomyosis (endometrium cells growing in the wrong place?). I am about to do a 3 day transfer of a spontaneous cycle ivf (42yrs old so they prefer an early transfer). I wanted to know if anyone else has had this condition and if there is any

Waiting time for NHS IVF approval
During our last appointment (September) we were told we would be put forward for IVF and that the funding approval should come back in 4 weeks. It’s now been over 6 weeks. I know I’m being impatient but everything just seems to take forever! Has anyone got any idea how long I should wait before chasing

Sensitive Post - my miracle baby *contains photo*
Some will be aware that I have been having IVF treatment since 2018 following two ectopic pregnancies. The first in 2013 in my right tube (which was treated by medication) and my second in 2017 where the left tube was removed. I had some tests after this and was told my right tube was blocked with one

NHS messed up my first cycle for sure (RANT) Feedback welcome
The more I learn about IVF medication and protocols the more sure I am that my first cycle was totally wrong. AMH-3, FSH - 7, afc - 8 Right before i was due to start I stupidly shared my abnormal smear results with the NHS IVF clinic which advised a colposcopy. I was advised by the nurse to start

quiet ovary
hi, I’m wondering if anyone has had this experience during their stims and had success. I’m day 9 today, and had my first tracking scan. There were 5 follicles on my right ovary but was told my left ovary was quiet and only had 1 follicle. I felt a bit gutted as this is my second round of IVF

Natural cycle FET likely to be cancelled due to ovulation on small follicle. What does this mean about my eggs/ ovaries? Having a wobble
Oh it's been a trial. Last month my cycle was cancelled due to COVID and this month, my bloods show I'm due to ovulate but follicle is only 12mm. I have been quite ill with Covid and pretty stressed getting ready to start a new job but was so hopeful to get this transfer done before Christmas but my
