I had my lap last june this year and had an appointment to gyne after 4 months and told me i need to go through another surgery for next year. Also gonna have Salpingectomy as my left fallopian tube was damaged and they said I will have higher chance for the IVF if they remove this.
i had several blood tests and MRI too. Just waiting for Feb next year to discuss all the results and when to rule out the Salpingectomy and IVF afterwards.
my question is does anyone here had the same experience? Is your IVF successful? Any tips for me before having ivf? Any reply is highly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi Mischie93 - I don’t have any success story yet but just to say wishing you all the best!! Lots of women on here have great success with endo, and having to lap/removal is definitely a great start. Good luck x
I have stage 4 endometriosis which was discovered during a laparoscopy. I am asymptomatic though so after discussions with my consultant we decided not to have any surgery and went straight for IVF. I had 5 transfers in total and have two beautiful children from it so it can absolutely work! 🥰 It wasn’t an easy journey, I had two ectopic pregnancies along the way one which resulted in an emergency salpingectomy. I then had my other tube removed after MRI showed haematsalpinx before my last transfer. Happy to answer any other questions you have and sending you lots of positivity for your upcoming journey. X
This is so good to know. It is a relief knowing someone had a successful transfer with stage 4 endometriosis like mine. Was your first transfer successful?
Im so glad as well that you have beautiful children. I cannot wait for ours.😍❤️ thank you so much for your reply it gives me a massive hope.xx
No, unfortunately it wasn’t. I did have mild overstimulation following egg collection so I probably should have let my body recover from that rather than go straight for a fresh transfer.
However, all 4 of my frozen embryos transfers resulted in implantation. Transfer 2 and 4 were my ectopic pregnancies and 3 and 5 were my successful pregnancies ☺️ X
