hi just wondering has anyone recently used Asda pharmacy for purchasing medication for an IVF cycle and willing to share the cost? Or anywhere else you recommend trying? Thanks

I used Asda a few weeks ago, my meds were £1500. However they couldn’t get one of the drugs I needed for treatment in Copenhagen, I bought that there.

My research (I did a lot) lead me to Asda as they don’t make any profit on IVF meds.

An online pharmacy quoted me almost double.

good luck :)

Hi Louise, I used Asda for all my IVF meds, I found them to be the cheapest compared to the hospital and other pharmacies. Good luck

I’ve been using asda for Cyclogest, prontogest and Progynova. It’s cost around 3-4 times less than going directly through the clinic. They usually have the meds in stock at my asda but even when they order it takes a day or two only. Def worth it. Xx

I saved an absolute fortune at Asda. Their Lubion is £50 a box as opposed to £126 a box at my clinic! They couldn’t get hold of my Crinone gel so I had to go via the clinic pharmacy for that, but the sourced everything else. My last prescription was £400 through Asda and it would have been close to £900 though my clinic’s pharmacy. So worth it! Recommend popping in to speak to your local branch first just to ask what their delivery times are, mine said max 10 days but it all actually arrived within 48 hours. Xx

I used Asda:) I saved a little compared to the clinic provider, I got meriofert and Fostimon at around £27.9 when the provider cost £29 each. Asda sold gonasi more expensive though so I got from the clinic. Overall I saved £60

My experience is the same as the others with Asda. I bought lubion, cyclogest and progynova. You can call them up for a quote. My Asda didn't have all meds in stock so I needed to wait a few days for lubion.
