Hi, I had a growth removed in August which revealed I have adenomyosis (endometrium cells growing in the wrong place?). I am about to do a 3 day transfer of a spontaneous cycle ivf (42yrs old so they prefer an early transfer).
I wanted to know if anyone else has had this condition and if there is any advice to help implantation?
The doctor says the site he will implant the embryo is good, but it would damage my uterine wall to remove the remaining lesions and they are not in the way.
I had a faoled implantation in September, so is there anything I can do to help my little egg stick?
Thank you!

Hi Dogbiscuits . I just hope your embryo snuggles in on a raised area of your lining. Others will reply with their experiences, I’m sure. Good luck. Diane
I also have adenomyosis along with endometriosis and interested in anything that could help. I did acupuncture on my first round which helped me a lot mentally. Not sure how much it helps but there is some research to suggest it can support with implantation. Wishing you lots of luck with your transfer xx
Thank you! I have been trying acupuncture, which does make me calmer. Unfortunately my clinic is in Bulgaria and the acupuncture at home in the UK. Have a session when I get back in a few days so hopefully it is in time to help!
I have adeno and had two failed transfers before finally getting the BFP on the third go. 17 weeks pregnant with twins now. My doctors were never really too worried about adenomyosis. I would bring it up sometimes but they rarely engaged in the conversation xxxx good luck!!
Wow congratulations! Did you have a double transfer?
I have the same response from my clinic, they told me on my cancelled cycle (lining too thin) that I had adenomyosis. They also said they knew that but had never told me and I'd already had a failed fresh transfer. They just seem to not be too interested in it though, not sure if this is good or bad 😂
It totally doesn’t seem to be very concerning for the doctors, I was so worried about adeno but the way they were dismissive of it made me feel better to be honest! I did have double transfer but only one of the embryos implanted and split into two identical twins!
Yes I've felt the same, gives me hope it's not a big deal to them, but also have that niggling thought of what if they're missing something 😅 so stories like yours are great to hear!Wow that's incredible! So pleased for you. Clearly meant to be 🥰
