Welcome everyone- l wanted to ask about singing post liver transplant. Dual organ transplant better than one?
we've heard that, since he is diabetic, he might get a kidney transplant sooner if he gets on the list for both a pancreas and a kidney transplant. Is that true? Has anyone experienced that?

Hi. I have joined this community to seek some idea as to what to expect for my friend. He was diagnosed with ALL earlier this year. All very sudden. He went through chemo regimes and subsequent stem cell transplant two months ago. All bloods and recovery going well. Last bloods about a week ago - all

What to do
Diagnosed a year ago with cirrhosis caused from NASH. I never have drank. I am overweight. My last visit to hepatologist was depressing after she answered some questions for me. It was my last visit to her until I can get insurance again as I just lost mine after losing my job after 13 years due to computer

Intermittent anticoagulation
I am considering this as am not keen to take daily as I have had a kidney transplant and anticoagulants are damaging to it. Have looked into it and results and outcomes very good and my doctors are amenable to me taking turmeric garlic and fish oils and rivoroxaban during an episode. I had a failed attempt

Too much protein??!!
I'm 7 months post from kidney transplant, and my nurse they need to redo creatinine and GFR, and that I might have to cut back on protein. Have anyone ever heard that before? Told me if I was going to eat meat with every meal, I should cut back to 3oz, and consider the other foods with protein, like

Fabry disease
Ive had a kidney transplant in 2007 but the docs never knew why my own failed in the first place. Last week I was at my 3 monthly appointment at the hospital and the nurse knew I didn't have a reason why my kidney failed as it was on the notes. She said that there is a new blood test to test for fabry

Liver transplant
Hi all, I’m looking for information about a liver transplant. Any and all information would be good to hear. How old was you when you had a transplant? What is life expectancy after a liver transplant? I am 31 years old, my consultant informed me it took years off your life. Thanks in advance.
