i had mine 11.03.2016 and so worth it i was down to a month ish to live . in truth its not that bad there are a lot of drugs to get to know but as time goes they fall off it hurts not to bad they did it on fri morn and by monday i was showering on my own had not done that for years chest is a little sore for a few weeks but not that bad then the work starts walk walk walk the more you do the better . before opp walk walk walk it make op so much easyer and get out time quicker if you want to know anything plz ask ill be glad to tell you
Thanks sibkev, it’s really good to hear from someone who’s had the experience. It’s amazing to think you got back so much mobility just a few days after the surgery. It really gives me hope. I know everyone’s progress will be different, but could you do things again, like walking upstairs easily, running , swimming? Also, what are the scars like? I know i’ll Just be grateful to be alive, so it doesn’t really matter, but I just need to prepare myself if i’m going to look like the bride of Frankenstein
