Living with glaucoma
Hi All I've had glaucoma and Uveitis in both eyes for many years and have had numerous procedures and drains put in both eyes like many other glaucoma patients , I was told yesterday that a

transplant
is not viable now because of the complications with my eye and that all they can do is monitor

Sudden diagnosis of CKD3 a few months following adrenalectomy
My wife was borderline cushing's disease back in fall. For years she had a nodule on her adrenal gland that was creating significant health issues. Had surgery to remove the one gland back in November, and then was on a course of hydrocortisone for about 4 months (gradually decreasing dosage until done

Had the ablation.
Monday I had the procedure under general anesthesia-safely and successfully. The did give IV cortef at the start of the procedure. Since they needed to intubate my throat is sore for days but my ears-especially the right one are achy. I was debating why aching now; pollen count is moderate, and my jaw

F3/F4 Diagnoses
Hi All. This is my first post. I had a fibroscan back in July and the nurse who performed it told me I had high-level F3, possibly creeping into F4. I’ve been referred to the Cirrosis Surveillance Team at my local hospital, but my first appointment isn’t until the middle of October. I’ve done a lot of

Anybody use CBD cream for arthritis?
CBD cream question. I was pretty surprised when the hand surgeon I saw yesterday recommended I use CBD creme on my arthritic thumbs twice a day. I can't take any anti inflammatory drugs because of my chronic kidney disease. Even aspirin is likely to hurt my kidneys. Since I'm on the kidney transplant

How often do you need a full work up to remain on kidney transplant list if you have been already approved? I understand it may vary by hospital but looking for an average.

It's a mystery...
My husband is 2.5 years post kidney transplant. He has done well up until recently when he began having chronic diarrhea. This went on for 6 days before he was hospitalized due to severe dehydration. After every test under the sun and 6 days of IV fluids, his kidney function levels climbed back up to

Low Blood Pressure solutions
I am currently on dialysis after my 15 year kidney transplant diminished in function. My BP has been low…below 100 systolic, ….likely due to taking Propafenone & Metatoporal for my AFib. Dialysis also contributes to my low BP. Low consistently is hard on kidney health. Does any one out there have

Hard journey to waiting list
My first time writing here. Day 71 of my daughter being on the liver transplant list. A number of years ago my daughter was diagnosed with NAFLD and was very overweight. 2 years ago aged 32 she started to have a fear of chocking on food so really struggled to eat - continued to ask for help but roll

Post Kasai_ biliary atresia
My son is 6 months last week, he had biliary atresia and they did the kasai at 5 weeks, the jaundice is still there, how long does it take to clear? Also he was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. We start solids this week. The stool has changed to yellow now but sometimes it's oily. We were recommended
