Welcome everyone- l wanted to ask about singing post liver transplant. I had a liver transplant about 3 months ago with skin closure only (which means my muscles are not sewn and I will have a second operation.) Could anyone tell me what are the prospects of singing after such transplant (both now and after the second surgery) ? Many thanks for your help!

I think that's a question for your surgeon!!
I belong to a choir and I sang about 1 yr after as I had other problems in addition to the liver but it was a great exercise and very enjoyable. Sing when you feel ready x
That's brilliant. I bet singing gives you plenty of joy. So your voice went back to normal 100% ? I was paranoid that the diaphragm might get damaged and due to intubation I might develop something and I enjoy singing very much as well.
Am nearly 8 weeks post TX and shouted when England scored and thought I’d ripped my stomach open 😳

Ouch !!!!!😲
Yes, I need to ask during my next visit. I was wondering more what are the experiences from the community, whether people have any problems. Looks like it's not an issue Thank you all x
