Eloquis/Apixaban etc - To Take or Not - That is The Question!
I am really in a quandry regarding eloquis/apixaban etc. I have a very mild heart flutter in that I have the 'pill in the pocket' medication with me since told about the flutter over a year ago. It does flutter a couple of times a week but when it happens it goes up to 150 but then flutters down so

1 week post ablation
Hi! I was diagnosed with AFib several years ago as well as atrial flutter, and PVCs . I have been on a number of meds and most recently took Flecainide 50 mg 2xday, metoprolol 12.5mg 1xday and Eliquis 2xday. I had an ablation gone 8 days ago and my EP said I could immediately drop my Flecainide

Rapid heart rate
Hi Last night all of a sudden my pulse went up to around 100 beats and was feeling my wrist was like 5 fast beats then would stop for a while then start going fast again. I felt a little sweaty as well. I get the occasional PVA PVC but never to fast heart rate. After a while like 15 mins or so it

Suspected Endometriosis
Hi everyone. Just looking for support/advice. Not really sure what to do or where to go from here after being told I could possibly have endometriosis…and don’t know if it’s just all in my head 😩 I’m 26, basically in my teenage years I had horrible pain with my periods and they were so heavy. I used

I want to have children
Hello . It's been 1 year since I was diagnosed with PCOS. We used Letroz and Klostelbegit drugs to grow follicles, but there was no pregnancy. Now a 2-month course of treatment with a contraceptive drug was given. What else can I drink? I'm not fat. I want to have children.

Post menopausal endo?
Does anyone have any experience of going through the menopause and finding relief from endo? My current GP wants me to come off the pill due to high risks at my age (I have been on the pill for 31 years - purely to keep endo symptoms at bay somewhat). They tell me that they won't know if I have gone

Pcos with regular but very light periods?
Hi all, I have lean pcos and was diagnosed via ultrasound after coming off the pill a year ago and not having a period. I had elevated testosterone levels on a blood test but everything else was fine (I have no unwanted hair growth). I started very lightly spotting a month ago and to the day I'm now

Very happy to hit 2 year mark from last AFIB incident. I was 48 when I had my first episode which terrified me, and the second episode was 9 months later. Both resolved on their own. I started working on lifestyle changes from the first incident. I focused on dropping milk from my diet and keeping

Anyone have any advice?
Worried. Last week I started the pill, mini pill to be exact. I started it on what I assumed was my period (first day) as I had heavy bleeding and blood clots (I usually get blood clots on period so nothing too unusual) since taking the pill I have been having PMS symptoms as if i’m still on my period

Making sense of supplements
hi everyone, having been on the forum now for four days and reading lots of posts about various supplements that may help with improving egg quality - I have a few questions: - I’m currently taking CoQ10 (as recommended by my doc) but just one 200mg tab once a day as it suggests on the bottle, whereas

premature ventricular contraction
hello all, spent a night at A&E to have a 12 year old doctor tell me these are nothing to worry about although it went on for several minutes 3 separate times yesterday and knocked me off my feet 🤷🏻♀️ Apparently unless I actually black out twice I can’t be referred on to anyone and when I why this

Fallen off my little pink cloud
we’ll, after a year post my last ablation, having had very little in the way of AF, it is back with avengance unfortunately. Started Thursday with increased PVCs and SVEs which developed into AF and then tachycardia/flutter at 140 bpm. I rang arrhythmia nurse who said to increase my sotalol and monitor

Pill/bleeding
Hi everyone. A few nights ago I had sex with my boyfriend and then the next day I started bleeding quite heavily, I assume it was my period so I took my mini pill (it says to take it first day of period) and then my bleeding has now completely stopped. Wondered if this is normal or something I need to

Switching from 100mg Flecainide twice daily, to Pill in the Pocket. Has anyone done this?
A few months ago, my Cardiologist here in Leipzig, suggested I reduce my dose of flecainide, due to a slow HR. I did so, and had no ill effects. My heart rate is now in the low seventies, it was only in the low fifties. Today I saw him again, and he suggested that I try using the Pill in the Pocket

chronic pain after excision surgery
hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced this…I had excision surgery 5 weeks ago, my symptoms pre op were daily low level pain, pain during sex and without
contraception
my periods would have been unbearable.

Aristo in my hands!
wooo after months of trying I have 100mcg Aristo for my latest prescription 🎁. Pharmacist said it came in by coincidence recently and she put on the top shelf where no one can reach with ‘reserved’ written on it 👏 I’m in week 5 of my 125mcg trial. Up from 100mcg. Taking Teva but the minor gurgles

Ablation for all types of AF?
I was reading a recent post - To 'ablate or not to ablate' by Tamgirl. Most responses were yes to ablation. I ask this question of everybody on each side of the fence. Do you know what type of AF you have? Your type of AF may have had a bearing on your decision to ablate or hold of on ablation. Vagal

just looking for some support, not entirely sure I just want someone to listen and help me :(
hello, I’m just looking for advice on what to do. I had a surgery in September (for endo) where they found scar tissue wrapped around my ovaries and bowel, they then said I’m no longer their problem and took me off the gyno list. Since then my pains just are getting worse. I’m not sure what to do

Stopping flecainide advice needed
I suffer with SVT and idiopathic VT, for which I take 50mg flecainide x1 a day and I also take 10mg propranolol at least x2 a day. I went for an EP study and ablation last year in October but unfortunately the ablation was not possible, due to not being able to set off any SVT or VT episodes. I stopped
