Bit of a silly question but just wondering when I have my 7 day break from my combined pill, if I take the pill on the 8th day am I still protected straight away even thought I’ve just taken the break?

Yes that is correct . If however you delay restarting and increase the pill fre gap, you could be at risk of ovulation and therefore pregnancy. There are also other ways of taking the combined pill.
