Foods for ckd
I have to eat this way as I suffer from chronic
constipation
as well and this diet helps but am I really adding to the burden of ckd here. I also allow myself 250ml of skimmed milk for the cereal and a couple of mugs of tea - every other drink is water. I never have snacks. Thanks for reading

Sorry this is a moan!
I have now been able to get some lactulose in the hope that eases things but the midwife indicated this could cause spotting but I had
constipation
in my last pregnancy and it didn't cause spotting.

Interesting B1 observation
Dr C had started him off on thiamine HCL, 1000 mgs daily and his
constipation
was resolved after 3 days, so we knew he was a responder. Now getting back to why we changed over…I’m not sure really. I just felt the sublingual wasn’t working any more.

Confirmation This Is Normal When Starting or Increasing Thyroid
My brain is clearing up, my physical energy is getting better, and the
constipation
is much improved. I still have a low body temperature and run a heater in my office, skin is still dry, and my weight doesn't budge even though I am on a healthy diet and gluten free.

Mornings Are The Worse Time
When I would go to doctors with my symptoms (including dry skin, hair falling out, cold,
constipation
, etc.), I would be told my thyroid was in range and that it was anxiety. I tried many antidepressants and they didn't help.

Success story with poo withholding now slipping into old habits
My now 4 year old daughter has had
constipation
issues since a baby, and after months of witholding and struggling in summer last year we went through 2 months of 2 disimpaction routines using movicol and finally had a success story. Very soft poos on the toilet every day with no dramas since.

Advice on current symptoms
I tested negative for coeliac disease (despite my mum having it), but I find improvement in muscle stiffness and digestive issues (stomach pains,
constipation
and bloating) when I cut out gluten.

Struggling to potty train with chronic constipation
We are also going back to our GP with the hope they can investigate her
constipation
properly and refer us on. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this sort of problem, would be great to hear if anyone has had a similar experience . Many thanks

constipation
One of my main issues is
constipation
. I am prescribed Laxido which generally helps but leaves me with some side effects like any laxative (flatulence, bloating etc). I’m currently camping and didn’t take any for over a week because I was enjoying life without the side effects.

unending anal pressure
I started noticing this issue getting much worse and happening almost daily after a couple days of
constipation
several weeks ago where it felt like I didn’t evacuate all the stool and I was straining a lot.

constipation (not impaction): lactulose or cosmocol
the GP agrees it's
constipation
and prescribed lactulose. She's having 5mls but producing explosive poos and complaining of stomach cramps. will lactulose soften her stools? Or is cosmocol a better option. thanks

Ajovy constipation
Hi all, Been taking Ajovy since July and definitely having a positive effect on my migraines, but have started to have issues with
constipation
:-(. Any advice? Think I remember some people recommend magnesium oxide or citrate? When is a good time to take this and what dose? Thanks!
