Hi,
I'm currently going through and chemical pregnancy and miscarriage. I remember on egg collection day that the consultant said my oestrogen levels had been lower this time. Could this have contributed to the miscarriage?? X x

I’m so sorry I have no advice but just wanted to say I am thinking of you xx
It’s definitely worth asking about at your follow up appointment. I hope you are able to find some possible answers xx
It's definitely worth asking about this. If there's anything they can learn going forward can only be a good thing xx
Ask you clinic. Mine told me that the reason they measure oestrogen on run up to EC is that it’s needed to develop eggs (ie in someone with good follicle number but comparatively low oestrogen, it might suggest egg development isn’t happening much...). I don’t know what it means/could mean for MC though... Hope you find your answer - always good to explore every possibility xx
Sorry for your loss, I’ve had 3 of the same.
My estrogen is always a little low, I had asked to go on estrogen support after transfer for the last one but my consultant forgot. I’ve read studies that said that cycles were more successful in those with higher estrogen levels after transfer. Might be worth asking xx
