Can Progynova and cyclogest prevent a bleed?

So I’m one week on from my fet 6 day blastocyst.

I was doing a natural fet but had to switch to medicated as my funding was running out. I had to switch as my clinic said my lh had surged (on day 9 which is really odd as I’m usually a week later) and my lining was only 4.2mm. So against everything I wanted I had to take buserilin again 4 days later along with Progynova to build up my lining.

ten days later my lining was thick enough but I also had several big follicles which indicated I hadn’t actually ovulated so I had to have the trigger - that was two weeks ago tomorrow.

On day of transfer my lining was a fat 18.5mm - I never normally have issues with lining its usual 9-11mm on its own so I knew with the Oestrogen it’d be thick lol.

So yesterday I started with mild period cramps which progressed into awful full on deep cramps all night which has kept me awake.

I know in my heart it hasn’t worked and with ovulation being two weeks ago tomorrow I know I will be bleeding in the next 48hrs - I feel like I should be now but it made me wonder if these drugs can stop a bleed?

My test day is next weds but I know I won’t reach that point 😞.

Hi lovely, it sounds like you've been through a tough time of ups and downs lately. All I can say is that you mustn't give up.. you don't know until you know. What is it physically that's making you think it hasn't worked? If it's the cramps, that could be any manner of things, including implantation or hormones!

It's easier said than done but try your best to get rid of the negative thoughts and be positive. Your lining thickness is great, you've had your transfer and now the 2ww is the most hellish time... Because it's when all the negativity and doubts creep in. Hold on to that hope and be positive, you've got this... And whatever the result, you won't know until another week anyway. I know you are right and I was so positive this time as I actually felt pregnant (albeit from the drugs) for about 5 days then my boobs started hurting less ...then these awful cramps...

I bled about 3 days before test date last time so I think I’m half expecting it

But I do remain hopeful to be a lucky one.
