Had my colonoscopy and all clear so far.Haemorrhoids are present.

And they took 3x biopsy due to my symptoms

Systoms

Passing blood red for 9 months on and off.

Qfit test of 400

Loose stools

Thanks for posting with us. I'm glad to hear you got your colonoscopy done. You are young and it's good to see that you did get this done. You definitely got some good answers from it. You're waiting on histology now for the three biopsies.

Do you know if there is a hereditary aspect within your family of the symptoms you're experiencing? That would be another thing for your doctor to know as well. Lead to some further tests that would be needed if there is indeed something hereditary going on.

I do wish you the best in getting a good histology report. Please let us know what you find out. That type of information can be helpful to others on this site as well.

Hi Tom,

Indeed my Nan had bowel cancer late in life which I informed the doctor about. I belive because of my fit test, systoms and my Nan my doctor arranged the colonscopy test very quickly. I was seen to with in 3 weeks which I am very grateful. I will of course also share my histology results.

I am fairly new to the site and wondering if you had your results yet?

I had qfit result of >400

I have been for my colonoscopy but they didn't tell me much apart from that they took 16 biopsies from 4 different sites.

Hi laurad18 all I was told after my colonoscopy was tha I was okay. They took 3 biopsy and said I would get the results in 6 weeks which would be around end of January. So I am in the same boat and just waiting.
