On my left hand side just above my belly button I get, what feels like, trapped gas. Pressing there I feel a lump (not a hernia). I have two in this area. I’m not constipated and it doesn’t go away after a BM. My colonoscopy isn’t until September. It’s sharp pain when I press in that area. Sometimes massaging it makes the pain go away but not the lumps. Anyone else get this? Of course any lumps are often a concern about tumors and I’d love to hear that others deal with this and it’s not a tumor.

Ask your gastroenterologist. They may know what it is, or, if there is a concern, they will move up your colonoscopy.
Could be a hernia
HiCBRGirl. Are you on any meds. I had those feelings when I was taking Omeprazole. It felt like I had bricks in my stomach and such pain and bloating. Changed to Lansoprozole for a while then an H2 / Tagamet and finally just maintenance dose when I need it.
