New Inhaler
Just been to see my Consultant today and I was offered a different inhaler to use instead of my Tiotropium. It is called Aclidinium and is to be used twice a day. Have any of you used this? I have been given one which will last me for 30days. If I am happy with it I just need to ask my GP to prescribe

TEST RESULTS @ LANCASTER UNRELIABLE
I just discovered that my results from Lancaster are incorrect. They claimed numerous times that I had an overactive thyroid. I went to Blackpool and got normal results. I had my results from Lancaster reviewed and found out that they are unreliable. This is very worrying for people who are put on medication

Why hospitals need more generalist doctors and specialist nurses
For many of us, CLL is not the only chronic health problem we are living with. This is a recognised issue in CLL treatment, with papers covering the challenges of dealing with patient comorbidities*. Further, with our higher risk of infections and secondary cancers, we are more likely to find ourselves

Cystoscopy - advise please
Good Morning! My husband has just received his letter calling him to hospital for the above procedure in a couple of weeks. He uses ambulatory oxygen so we will take that with us and I have noted it says that the "nurse will talk you for the procedure" - doubtful will get a wheelchair. Just wondered

I am so proud of my wife of 29 years, Esther, for being a panelist at a recent town meeting for CLL patients in Seattle and being open about her experience as a caregiver to me, a patient with CLL and myelofibrosis. There is another interview coming and one with my 21 year old daughter, Ruthie, too..

CLL and Merkel Cell
My father has had CLL for 17 years and has been through a couple of rounds of treatment with good results. He was recently also diagnosed with Merkel Cell carcinoma on his face. He had surgery to remove the tumor and 6 weeks of radiation. About 3 weeks after the radiation ended, the Merkel Cell reoccurred
