Interesting to see what's coming out the the 'Moon Shots Program'. CLL is only one of the areas of focus, but look at how treatment is changing: "Only 15 percent of new CLL patients at MD Anderson are treated with chemotherapy, down from 48 percent two years ago. "

I was surprised to see that petrochemical companies are responsible for the majority of the funding donations; I was expecting pharmaceutical companies would be the major sponsors.

Photo: Lunar eclipse at near totality from early this month. It was challenging taking the photograph with just a digital camera (no telescope) in the very low light conditions. Friendly cats rubbing against the camera tripod legs in otherwise perfect conditions didn't help :) .
