is this the new normal?
My Joe has pneumonia again: this time with a partially
collapsed
lung
. He’s had it now in April, May and June. This time they sent him home with oxygen for 90 days. When he started chemo in 2017 they said he could get 5 years. He got 3 before he had to start Zytiga.

pleurodesis and air travel
My Pleurodesis was the result of multiple occurences of a
collapsed
lung
do to blebs (blisters) on that lung. The surgeon did not address very small blisters on the top of the lung so I also worry about a potential leak and how it would be resolved with a Pleurodesis!

The Journey Begins 7th August 2023
Nasty cough with shortness of breath , Local GP suspected chest infection, prescribed antibiotics and chest x ray, this picked up a issue so had chest CT scan. 12th August. Suspected lung cancer to right upper lobe .!! Early staging suggests T3/N2/M0 this now May have been a bit premature as Bronchoscopy

The Wind Beneath My Wings Caregiver Award
Behind every lung cancer patient stands a caregiver walking together with their loved one diagnosed with lung cancer. Whether it’s a shoulder to cry on or a ride to the doctor — caregivers are there to help. The caregiver is often the person behind the curtain, ensuring their loved one has everything

post surgery recovery
I had lung surgery five weeks ago, lower left hand lobe The tumour was removed completely and the test results came back that it hasn’t spread to the lymph nodes which is fantastic news The problem I’m having is, I am still in excruciating pain in the area where the chest drain was , at the hospital

Asbestos
Hi, everybody I had breathing problems last year. Went to my doctor & had a blood test that night I got a call to go straight to local hospital. Was there for14 hours but excellent service. Found build up of liquid in lungs & my ankles & lower legs were bigger. I had been cutting my socks as I thought

Bed hair
Well I've had all my tests, I'm now severe, got pulmonary hypertension so the lung reduction is out of the question, apparently. I can go forward for a lung transplant but you know, I caused this with smoking, I gave up 2 years ago. And I don't fancy having my ribcage opened and someone else's blood

Actinic keratosis & Lung cancer
Hi, Dad is in 5th week of taking Erlotinib and corresponding face rash appears to be under control with prescribed cream / antibiotics. Also good to see that his cough has reduced in frequency by around 90% and no increase in fatigue. My question is- dad has actinic keratosis ( for around 25 years +
