Well I've had all my tests, I'm now severe, got pulmonary hypertension so the lung reduction is out of the question, apparently. I can go forward for a lung transplant but you know, I caused this with smoking, I gave up 2 years ago. And I don't fancy having my ribcage opened and someone else's blood in me. Anyway to the question, one for the ladies, or men with hair still on their head 😂. Because I'm on oxygen through the night I don't toss and turn but my head obviously bobbles about on my pillow! Don't get me started on pillows as I've been through the whole range of them!
So when I wake in the morning I have a fuzz ball on the side of my head 🤣. How do you cope with it? Is there a special product? Other than wetting it with water every morning?
Drink plenty today xx Lesley xx

Hi Lesley, I'm on oxygen 24/7 and sleep in one position all night. I don't have the same problem with my hair though, it must be very frustrating for you. Apart from wetting it which you are already doing, the only other thing I can think of is to wear a hairnet. Not very glam but might help. Carole x
Sorry to here you now have " pulmonary hypertension " and your problem with your hair.
I have very dry hair I often wake up to tangles. combing is torture. I hate pillows I buy from Amazon / Tesco anywhere and my head is never comfy and they go out of shape.
Smoking - I don't have pulmonary hypertension - Emphysema and Fibrosis caused by smoking, did not know the dangers back in the day,
I was advised to get a silk pillowcase for my pillow, it is supposed to stop problem with hair . I do find it helpful , my hair isn’t static in the morning. However, it might not be the answer. I hope you find a solution.
I have three thick cotton pillowcases underneath the main one which is high quality cotton. I think the silk pillowcases are a great idea. M&S do a cotton sateen range which might work, it's nice & silky to the touch. My pillow is goose-down which moulds nicely round my head.
Yes the pillows and cases and the toothpaste too😆. Find But I reckon I ing a non spray perfume an oil free face cream.... My life has been overtaken and I haven't missed going out to work! Then of course is the do not get tangled in your pipe!! Life has changed, maybe we can become testers for all these different products haha. I do use palmers products as they are lovely. I daren't buy any more pillows, I have a houseful of the different varietys and shapes. I reckon I can get away with a pillow case though 🤞
Hi Lesley, My hair has gone from dead straight 3 years ago, to almost afro now ! I found it really hard to detangle and it made me really breathless. then I found Palmer's Coconut Oil Leave in Conditioner. It's a spray that you can spray on wet or dry hair and lo and behold, no tangles! Amazing stuff, not the cheapest £6.30 at Tesco, but often on offers of some sort, and it lasts for ages. I think a hairnet may help too (most attractive, but whatever!).
Only Curls products are the secret and a girls best friend! Google them and buy the starter pack. My daughter started me on mine and I love and embrace my hair now. Night times and mornings were all fuzzballls!
I've never used a leave in conditioner, doesn't the spray catch in your throat? I'm terrified of doing more damage to my lungs so we've been getting rid of anything spray and replacing with before spray stuff 😄 xx
My hairnet came yesterday so I wore it to bed last night 😂. I lost it in the night, somewhere in the bed haha. I'll try again tonight and put hair grips in. xx
