Nine months into this horrible journey of advanced prostate cancer caused by Agent Orange, seemingly endless surgeries, complete urinary incontinence, a temporary colostomy, absolute desexualization, humiliation and embarrassment and I have finally realized there are no quick solutions, no easy answers. I endure by staying at home, trying difference combinations of products and counting on some slight improvements after upcoming surgeries. My wife is such a strong support; she is understanding and my at-home nurse. Honestly, there are more days than not that I feel less than human. Not what I had planned for retirement. As for the cost and medical support, thank god for the Veterans Administration.

Hey CNickIII I've been fully incontinent since November 2012, so I know where you're coming from. In two days I'll be traveling on a plane for 18 hours so picture me changing in a airplane lavatory (I'm' 6'1 and 220 lbs.). I suggest you buy depends by the case (on line home delivery in an unmarked box) from Costco (best price). Now if you're going somewhere special just double up on the depends and change the top one when practical. Have you wife carry some extra depends in her purse/handbag. I know it sucks but you made it though Nam and that sucked too. Don't sweat the small stuff and thank God you're alive and not on the Memorial Wall. Keep the faith and....
Good Luck and Good Health.

Hi there. I have been 100% urinary incontinent since my RP in 2010. Can I suggest you add a dimethicone barrier skin cream, such as Medline Remedy, to the mix? It prevents one's scrotum from becoming horridly itchy from being wet all the time. Also, I use a handy little clamp called Dribblestop to give me more freedom. stressnomore.co.uk/dribbles...
I don’t know if this would help you but my husband had Laprascopic Prostate surgery and since then he was incontinent, dribbling all the time for eleven years!! He tried a supplement called Ultranol Total Bladder Support bought at Amazon and it did help him but at least not as bad. I hope you can benefit from this as well.
Thanks for the info.
Dribblestop, I think I'll just tie it in a knot...LOL
Good Luck and Good Health.
