Nytol or any other antihistamine?
Hello, I have been struggling again with RLS since I possibly had Covid last year in March. My first time of RLS was in 2000 after I was ill with the Epstein Barr virus. After a few years of RLS it became less and less until I only had it a few nights per months and only always 2/3 nights before my menstruation

Serious head pain for a week
Last Monday suddenly had shocking red hot pain above right eye- thought I was having a stroke but obviously not after a few minutes where the pain carried on spreading to back of head. I was calling out in pain and called 111. After lots of questions she told me an ambulance would be with me within 2

Can anyone help me explain this?
Hello, I have already been diagnosed with Endo and I had a laparoscopy last year and they removed the endometriosis. Since then the pain has not improved, so my doctor put me on the pill full time (no break) instead of 3 packs back to back and then a break. Still the pain is awful, I have co-codamol

co-codamol and Apixaban, can they be taken together ok.
I'm having a lot of back pain at the moment and paracetamol isn't working. Anyone got any thoughts on the best pain killer. I tried Devils Claw and got virtually every possible side effect on the list. Plus I had AF every day I took it. All the best. Roy

Worried about ovarian torsion/rupture
Hi, I'm totally new here and was wondering if anyone has advice about ovarian cysts? I've been told that I have large cysts on both ovaries (told to me by my GP who looked at 2nd MRI scan results- but wouldnt give me any more info), so have to wait to see gynaecologist for answers (long waiting list)

Waiting for a diagnosis
Hello one and all I feel compelled to write in after reading the recent message about someone having been recently diagnosed with MSA after being treated for PD. I have been 'unwell' for over 3 years. I have always exercised, completing half marathons and enjoying boundless energy. I started falling

Starting Ropinirole as a first med for RLS?
I have had more severe RLS since last March, which is possibly a Long-Covid symptom. So far I have had my iron/ferritin tested. My ferritin was on 25 initially but has gone up to 45 after taking oral iron supplement which I still continue to take. My RSL has not improved much yet though. It is still

Un explained Breast Pain
I am writing this on behalf of my wife. She has had a pain in the upper inner right quadrant of the breast for the last 2 years. When this first came up she had an appointment at our local hospital and received a bilateral mammogram and all was normal. There was no focal lesion seen. The radiologist

Hi, I'm new to the site. Would like to say thank you for the huge wealth of knowledge and advice given. Every time I go to ask a question or make a comment- it's already been asked or made. However, I cannot find the answer to this one. I eventually started on 20 mg of prednisolone on 09/03/21 after

PMR IN LOWER BACK
I have GCA lost sight 10 years ago. I never had PMR until a few weeks ago when I developed severe pains in my hips and lower back. I was on 9 mg of Pred for my GCA and because of a recent flare. Last Saturday the pains in my back were so bad I raised my Pred to 15 mg thinking it could be PMR. it eased

Opioid Analgesics. Withdrawal from patients already prescribed long term.
I despair when I see this need for a person to get a "High" from a drug. These are the people who are causing medication to become higher class drugs and in the case of Codeine, which I am fighting the MHRA and Depth of health, to being withdrawn from sensible patients who benefit from relief of pain
