my mum - end stage liver failure
I just wondered if anyone may be able to offer any advice in our situation. My mum was diagnosed with cirrhosis 8 years ago and gave up alcohol. Unfortunately she started drinking again 4 years ago. She was in hospital for 6 weeks earlier this year and diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy. I thought

lack of help
A friend of mine was diagnosed with CBD last year, but started with symptoms about 4 years ago. It started in her left hand, she lost control and dropped things. At first it was thought she had had a stroke, but the symptoms have gotten worse. She has no coordination, or balance. She falls regularly

Cystocele/Rectocele repair all done
I'm almost 6 weeks after my repair surgery. Recovery not to bad. First two weeks I was warned were crucial and told not to do anything except rest, which I did. Luckily we had hot sunny weather so I literally layed outside sunbathing in-between medication, meals and sleeping. No pain as I kept taking

I am recently diagnosed with RA, I am on immune blockers. And I keep getting colds and coughs. is this due to my immune system being reduced. And is there anything I can do to treat this? Thank you.

High dose fish oil supplements may increase risk of AF
I saw this in the Consumer Labs newsletter today. Just wanted to posts for those taking high dose fish supplements. Please let me know if link does not open as it’s subscription based. The percentages don’t seem that significant, though I’m not the best person to interpret these studies https://www.consumerlab.com

CBD with cirrhosis
I'm struggling with pain from previous injuries (torn rotator cuff, lumbar back, sciatica)and PTSD diagnosed in 2020.My Hepatologist has said that I can take 2G of paracetamol in 24hrs. This does not sort the pain. I take 2 Cocodamol (8/500) at night (not every night) only as my fatigue during the day

Tips for knee pain at 68
Hi everyone, I'm Lyndon. I Woke up Saturday morning with a horrible surprise - knee pain. It's centered on the front left side of my right knee, a dull ache that's been keeping me up at night and making it tough to move around. At 68, I've had my fair share of aches and pains, but this is new territory

Is carvedilol making you cold?
I recently had my Carvedilol increased to 6.25mg twice a day. Lately, I am freezing to the bone. I turn my heating up and up and am still cold when everyone else says its like a sauna. I just wondered if anyone else has this? It could also be my recent addition of diabetes medication, Sitagliptin. Never

Morning all I am determined to come off the dreaded pred. and now down to 1mg, hurrah! Although I hurt sometimes, it is not as it was and I can live with it. Are there any tips for alternatives for inflammation? Someone said CBD oil so I bought some Cannery and not sure if it does anything, possibly
