Seeking anyone familiar with aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer and/or with lurbinectedin as 2nd line chemotherapy.
A needle biopsy Oct 15, 2023 revealed that at least some of my metastatic prostate cancer in a lymph node had mutated to an aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer. (notable for CDK N1B, RB1, Tp53 mutations. MSS, TMB low) I had 4 cycles of carboplatin/etoposide chemotherapy, which ended

Dry mouth and throat
I have a constantly dry throat and meds, probably from meds. Other than carrying water around with me whenever I go out, or a constant supply of cough sweets, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I recently got fired from the job on my birthday last month and ive been job searching since. It has been impossible to find a job. People aren't even calling me back and I know my resume is

I’m scared and don’t understand…
Hello, oh gosh where to begin. Recently work stressed me out so bad that the right side of my head went numb for a few days and my emotions felt numbed. But along with that, it sparked these random thoughts of “committing.” Now I’ve no reason to do such a thing. I’m quite happy to be here. I want to

Saxon clinical trial
Hello all, I was recently enrolled in the Saxon clinical trial combining Xofigo with SBRT. Is anyone else in that trial? Diagnosed with prostate Cancer July 2014, Gleason 7 (4+3) in 6 of 12 . After Radiation treatments my PSA was undetectable until July 2019. It rose to 3.9 in January 2020

The Importance of Peer-Review
Even renowned oncologists can fall in love with their data. It takes the impartial analysis of an outside expert to see the confirmation bias that may be blinding the lead investigator of a Phase 3 clinical trial. Although Phase 3 trials are Level 1 evidence, they still must be graded by outside experts

How long on Entresto
I would like to ask what’s the longest anyone on this post has been on Entresto. My cardiologist has patients who started on it back when the clinical trials began in 2015 and doing quite well.

Upcoming TTALC Workshop 3/23/24
Did you know? Clinical trials provide new treatment options, especially if existing treatments have not worked. You may also receive more attentive care in a clinical trial study because it requires close observation and follow-up from a team of doctors. Join our live interactive workshop to learn more

Morning folks, Sitting in clinic at Sarah Cannon Research Institute in Nashville getting my first dose of Phase 1 trial of a Xencor drug called XmAb808, which is an antibody that binds to tumor cells and immune cells called T cells. Baseline scans looked decent and all systems are go. Really blessed

Dealing with Depression and Anxiety
I have had four episodes of depression in my life. This is the lastest one. I have a phsyciatrist and a therapist. I am taking Buproprion and sertraline. The buproprion was started about 6 weeks ago. The sertraline was added 2 weeks ago. I was feeling better with my anxiety about 5 days ago.

Conundrum Gastrin
Hi everyone, does anyone have advice when trying to increase weight when diagnosed with Intestinal Metaplasia and Hyperplasia. I have been doing some research regarding the damage that Gastrin can do when it doesn't switch off (NET's tumours) because of low stomach acid and as the Gastrin is activated
