How long on Entresto

I would like to ask what’s the longest anyone on this post has been on Entresto. My cardiologist has patients who started on it back when the clinical trials began in 2015 and doing quite well.

I have been on it for about 3 years, on the maximum dose, and seem to be doing OK. It's good to hear of longer term users.

Since 2020. Great results at first then struggled to adjust on the middle dose with sides. Heart ef dipped after this. Now do okay on middle dose without sides. Seem to do okay but I do get heart pains still. Going to speak to doc about going up to high dose if needed to see if this improves heart function I wish to get back to the gym and at some good fitness level as before.

Is it still working as far as more energy? I’m on the middle dose but at times out of the blue my bp goes down to 85/48ish. Hopefully that stops. Cheers

Yes it took me a long time to adjust. I was really low BP and heart rate for long time after my heart attack. The bp has adjusted but still on the lower side but not really any problems with this. Not much symptoms other than chest pains and the anxiety that comes with them. Energy levels are lower than pre heart attack and have been up and down since starting all these meds. Some days I'm an absolute zombie and others I do alright. I don't know if it's the heart failure itself or the medications or a combination of both. I just thank for each day and try to stay positive..

My cardiologist told me that she prefers that bp be on the low side, as long as it’s not too low.
