"In this study, researchers want to see if combining radium-223 dichloride with SBRT may prevent the cancer from continuing to spread and delay the need for hormonal therapy."
Greetings Willys, good idea to change your UserID since we mention our willys many many times in our posts and not in size 5.8" or plus. You've come to the right place however.....FIGHT ON....
LOL, My UserID is a reference to one of my Jeeps, a 1958 Willys. I hadn't made the connection to the more personal connotation. I've been on the site for a while and appreciate the humor you and others bring. Thank you.
IF THE WILLYS MB STARTED THE GOOD TIMES, THE JEEP CJ-5 MADE IT ALL COME TRUE.
For 30 years, the CJ-5 put the jeep in Jeep.
If you’ve got a Wrangler Unlimited in the driveway, you can thank the CJ-5 for bridging the 30-year gap between Willys, Kaiser, AMC, Chrysler, DaimlerChrysler, FCA, and whoever else will take the brand for a spin. Point is, modern Jeeps owe their existence to the same vehicle: the indomitable and incorruptible CJ-5.
This was the jeep that made off-roading relevant to everyone not wanting a surplus army jeep. And it defined the Jeep brand, by taking a great military design and turning it into a consumer classic. Based on the 1952 Willys MD, Kaiser brought the CJ-5 to life as a longer, tougher, more powerful, and comfortable vehicle.
In doing so, the CJ-5 reflected our needs and evolving sensibilities. A good example is the various engines that powered this Jeep: the original “Hurricane” F-head 4-cylinder, the Dauntless V6, and AMC’s 304 and 360 V8 power plants.
Design-wise, the CJ-5 showed up in a carousel of styles, from canary yellow paint to giant eagle decals and massively cool stripes. Editions ran the gamut, and some even became legend: The Renegade. The Golden Eagle. Laredo. And Limited.
The Jeep CJ-5. It was the jeep that refused to die, no matter who owned the brand.
The New Unlimited Jeeps are way too big for the back woods exploring that I like to do..I have a 1946 CJ2A, the 58 Willys, a 1997 and a 2004 V8 swapped Wrangler TJs, and a 2004 Grand Cherokee, the last front straight axle Grand Cherokee, and couple more miscellaneous. I'm about to head to Moab Utah for Easter Jeep Safari. I've had a couple of CJ7s, but never a CJ5.
Wowza, Wowza............Some hell of a garage.....(in a airplane hanger?)
Sure beats my pink WWII M4 Sherman, Medium Tank. Unfortunately I had to get rid of it, since every time I would mention the name, my wife would always say "YOU'RE WELCOME"......drove me crazy.
