An Update of ADT2 Treatment for My Metastatic Prostate Cancer
it is one month since I started taking Casodex and 17 days since first Lupron shot. Now I am having hot flashes regularly. Every day when I get up from bed I have an episode like clockwork. Somedays it is very intense and other days moderately strong. Throughout the day I get more episodes at random

What is the latest research on Casodex? My MO in Chicago is tells me Casodex has lost favor with many US MO's and most are turning to other drugs. Drug holiday coming to an end
Just a short update on my health. MRI end of October showed no metastasized cancer. Just one lymph node 15.1 mm. Testesterone is coming back into the system. It is now more than 8 months since my last Lucrin injection. But the PSA moved. This week the test showed up from 0.04 to 0.17. My GP freaked out

Xtandi for castrate resistant PC
I just started Xtandi a couple of weeks ago after becoming castrate resistant. I was on Firagon, Eligard, and briefly Casodex for 20 months before becoming resistant. PSA is still relatively low at just under 2, but doubling time is fast at about 6 weeks. Has anyone that is castrate resistant had good

Zytiga for high-risk non-metastatic PCa?
Hi fellows, My cancer was diagnosed as Gleason 9 and non-metastatic. It's been treated in recent months with EBRT and brachytherapy. I'm on Casodex & Lupron, and the Lupron will continue into 2020. But I feel maybe I could be doing more. Sometimes I'll read on the message boards that someone who seems

8 years since dx, doing well ...
Hi, I'm new here, brief history of my prostate cancer is below. My cancer has been kept under control with very low dose casodex since psa recurrence, so I'm grateful for that. Casodex monotherapy for high risk pca patients is not the standard treatment, however it's working for me, at least until now

Start of New Phase in My Prostate Cancer Journey
In 2011, when I was diagnosed with low volume Gleason 3 + 3 prostate cancer and treated with brachytherapy, I did not think that I would be fighting the cancer again and again. First time in 2016 with local recurrence in an extra- capsular mass that was treated with ADT and cyberknife. This year the

Xtandi - Please help
Hi everyone, My father's PSA keeps rising. It is now 460. It was 300 three weeks ago. He had Casodex, Lucrin, Zytiga, prostatetomy, radiation therapy, orchietomy, chemo (Taxotere, Taxotere+carboplatin, Jevtana). All failed. We saw a doctor (in the US) who prescribed Xtandi. My father does not live in
