Failing Lupron? What's next?
After more than four years on hormone therapy and 6 rounds of chemo, my dad's PSA is beginning to slowly rise. It has moved from .07 size months ago to .13 three months ago to .23 today. He has been on Lupron and casodex for the past four plus years. Can anyone give me any insight into what we should

Which should I take first and WHY ?? Cabazitaxel or Enzalutamide ??
As most of you know by now, I have been through Casodex, Eligard, Abiraterone, Docetaxel, Lu-177 and radiation therapy thus far. My remaining options are Cabazitaxel and Enzalutamide. Any idea which should I take first and why ?? Many thanks for any reply anyone may care to give.

Nilandron anyone?
Are you or have you been on Nilandron? If so, please let us know why that drug was chosen for your care, rather than casodex or anything else more recent Thanks

Would Carboplatin help with liver mets that are not neuroendocrine?
My dad has stage 4 prostate cancer with liver, lung and pelvic bone mets. Tried Jevtana recently and did not help at all and cancer worsened so it was stopped after 2 cycles. Started keytruda a couple weeks ago since prostate biopsy showed MSI-H. Recently got a liver biopsy that showed prostate adenocarcinoma

86 year old does not want more Lupron or chemo.
Hi, My French teacher's husband is 86, had radiation to prostate in 2011. He has a catheter in, at present, due to urine retention. PSA was 17 but down to 3 because of 6 months Lupron shot. He refuses to get another one (Nov) or to take chemo due to the side effects. He does have other problems- some

I'm new here, fighting Prostate Cancer and life is still good.
I know how devastating these words "You Have Prostate Cancer" are. I was diagnosed exactly one week before my 59th birthday on March, 10, 2017. Well guy's, I want to tell those who have recently been diagnosed, that life is far from over. Between March 10, 2019 and April 24, 2019 when I had my robotic

Would anybody know if you could take CABAZITAZEL and still continue taking ZYTIGA, LUPRON and ZOMETA?
Two-part question: First part of the question was: Question regarding CABAZITAXEL (also called: JEVTANA) and if one can be on this chemotherapy drug treatment while also on a combination of other drug treatments such as: (2) ZYTIGA, (3) LUPRON and/or (4) ZOMETA? In other words, would anybody know if

Jevtana and carboplatin combo..where to go after
My dad is now going through combo chemo (jevtana and carboplatin). Has anyone else experienced this and if so was it positive? Dad is having a lot of pain and just weak with it. We expected the weakness but not so much the pain. He was continuing to have an increase in psa on taxotere and then jevtana

MEMORY LOSS, WAS IT CAUSED BY THE ESTROGEN PATCHES
Following a positive biopsy indicating that I had prostate cancer (3+4) in late 2013, I began a long ADT treatment protocol that included a combination of Lupron, Casodex, Avodart, Xgeva and Metformin until Februaru 2015. I then switched from Lupron to Estrogen Patches and continued the Avodart and Metformin

Cycle estrogen and casodex/dutasteride
I have been on estrogen patches to lower testosterone. Very effective. Undetectable T and PSAs are 0. No depression. But zero libido, loss of strength, and lower RBC (I think that 0 T is going to cause those regardless of how you get there). So I am going on a combo of casodex and dutasteride. Casodex
