Poorly Girl!
Hi everyone! Let me start my saying that I feel bad for not being on here before now, but in truth, up until Monday I was doing ok and my RA was finally under control. Not that it is an excuse, because I could have supported many people on here who are maybe not having such a good time! I know now how

Feeling Frustrated
Hi all, I have been coughing up the thick green stuff and blood since October. Four courses of antibiotics following a chest x-ray showing a consolidation made no difference on the follow up x-ray. I had to send of a sputum specimen to check what would clear it and was signed off sick for a second month

Hi all, I'm back and about to hang the do not disturb sign on the door Ha Ha 1 The INR warfarin blood test could have gone better, in 1 week and because of being put on a higher steroid dose and AB's my INR has risen from a perfect 2.5 to 3.8 which is no surprise as this normally happens to me so I had

Hi, my name is Claire and I have been having problems with my lungs since September. I am a 21 years old, have never smoked and have been rather healthy until around three years ago. oh how annoying that my post was missing, I'd written loads! Anyway, I was saying that since diagnosis in October last year I've had non stop infections and antibiotics. I saw a new consultant who specialises in Bronchiectasis on 05 January and he advised that a course of IV antibiotics was the only

Hi, desperate for some guidance! For almost 4 months I have had a persistent cough and have been bringing up mucus. Cough Variant Asthma, anything working?
Hi all I'm new to the forum but sadly not to CVA :( Having had the worst 12 months ever I basically sat in the GP clinic & refused to move on Friday. I feel so low it's not true - worn out by coughing all night, can't do my job properly during the day as I cough constantly, my ribs hurt, my head hurts

GP Questioning Diagnosis
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with Asthma, I am 36 so this is adult onset. My journey started a couple of years ago when I had a bad flare up following exposure to a large amount of dust (the office air conditioning unit was serviced by my desk and produced what I can only describe as a dust

ANA Tests?
I was admitted to hosptial for a suspected broken bone in my foot because of the pain I was in. However, the Dr said he thought it was an Arthritis flare and that I should be referred to a rheumatologist and would write to my Dr suggesting this. In the mean time my new GP has run some routine blood

GP update
An update after return of my symptoms after being diagnosed 18 years ago and currently on 150mcg Levothryroxine . One of my friends offered to go to the doctor with me for support as she was so worried about my befuddled state! As most people have found, I was told my bloods were 'normal', although
