Suspected SLE
Not sure if this is the best place to post........ I've been ill for just over 2 1/2 years now. In that time I've had my appendix, gallbladder, and left ovary removed. I've also had exploratory surgery, ovarian cysts drained, and viral meningitis. On top of all that I have extreme fatigue, joint pain

Really worried
I just started exercising, running, weights, cycle etc., I got a chest infection and the GP sent me for a chest x-Ray. Well the X-Ray came back that I had a slight enlarged heart. Also my blood pressure was up a bit at my last GP visit and apparently my previous GP diagnosed me with stage 1 high blood

Crackling and squeaking noises when breathing out, while laid down
Hi I wonder if somebody could help me with this. A few months ago when I went to bed as I was breathing out my throat seemed to be making a sound like 'popping candy', then soon after high pitched squeaking. A couple of weeks later I went to the doctors thinking I had a chest infection and was told

Advice
Hi Trying to get some help. Last 2 years I have been struggling with breathlessness. Last July I went to the doctors about it who said she would arrange some tests. Whilst waiting for these tests I ended up one night at a&e on a nebuliser cause I couldn't breath. They did a chest X-ray. And the doctor

First Spirometer Test
I'm going for a Spirometer Test in 2 weeks time. My GP gave me something to blow into in the surgery and said the number was 200 which is only half of what it should be. I've had a dry cough since new year which eventually changed to a phlemie cough and eventually flu-like symptoms. I was sent for

Frustrated
Hi there I had a recent exacerbation, which resulted in two courses of prednisilone. While things are improving, I'm far from back to normal. I also take seretide. For a couple of months I've been having four puffs twice a day of 125, Tried to get appointment with my usual gp who knows me and my asthma

Chest Pain. Popping in chest. It just won't go away.
I feel like I am starting to annoy people on here sometimes, but it's not my fault that I am a constant worrying.. Blame anxiety for that. Anwho: Okay for the past couple weeks I have been having really bad chest pain. I have told my doctor about it and she said it's just my anxiety. Okay so I figured

Hi! last night whilst I was sitting watching tv, I got a tiny chest flutter (best way that I can describe it) there was no pain just a flutter. About a minute later I got really sore pain in my left arm, it was on the inside about 2 inches above my elbow! I'm so terrified that it is heart related, I'm

Hi, I have never had any lung problems and always a non-smoker. 11 weeks ago I started with a hefty chest infection, but felt ok and didn't rest up. When it didn't go, I went to the doctor who says I either have asthma or COPD, and has given me an inhaler, peak flow meter, medication & chest x-ray,
