Overdosing bisoprolol- can anyone offer advice?
I donāt know whether it is where I live ( the NW) but I really struggle to get appropriate treatment. Anyway I picked up my meds on Saturday. Opened them in the car and noticed my bisoprolol was suddenly in 5 mg tablets not 2.5 mg. I went back into the pharmacy to be told that I have been on 5 mg tablets

Questions/Help/NASH related?
I had a tour of the ER a couple of weeks ago. I went in with a headache, and shortness of breath, and the tip of my fingernails turned deep blue/purple. After 6 hours and multiple tests including, complete blood work, CT scan, EKG, chest x-ray. The result stated that nothing was found. My primary

appointment update
Well left for my appointment with a HR of 111. ECG hospital HR 174, BP 167/132.- full blown AF. Deposited in chair and wheeled to the consultant. My husband offered to push as the poor nurse wasnāt strong enough ( I only weigh 67kg ). If the resource was available I would have been kept in hospital

Pred dosage/PMR
I started on 15mg Pred on 15th Sept after an appointment with rheumatologist. He asked my GP to arrange a repeat blood test and an ANCA serum test along with a chest X-ray. I havenāt heard anything back from the surgery after I spoke to them a week ago and the GP said he would have to check up on it.

The Journey Begins 7th August 2023
Nasty cough with shortness of breath , Local GP suspected chest infection, prescribed antibiotics and chest x ray, this picked up a issue so had chest CT scan. 12th August. Suspected lung cancer to right upper lobe .!! Early staging suggests T3/N2/M0 this now May have been a bit premature as Bronchoscopy

Rituximab and Chest Infections
Not long after my first 2 Rituximab infusions I was diagnosed with a chest infection and given antibiotics. The GP booked me in for a chest X-ray and 3 or 4 weeks later that showed lingering infection so I had another week if antibiotics. At the weekend I felt very short of breath and my pulse was racing

Rather scared. What does this mean?
As confirmed in my bio,I went into persistent af in April after 17 years of problems. At this stage my heart was fine , my last echo was clear. I had a chest X-ray in dec which showed no problems. My heart rate was 120-130 and I was assured this was fine/ normal despite feeling increasingly breathless

bnp level high, breathlessness and fluid in lungs. What does this mean?
hello everyone. I have posted relatively frequently, most recently because my weight loss surgery was cancelled due to high heart rate(120-130) in persistent af and breathlessness. The gp gave me additional bisoprolol which brought hr down to about 90. Breathlessness has continued, possibly due to

Did I get this wrong
So Iāve worked my frequencyās out on the basis of when I feel breathless and achy Iāve overdone it and prob need to increase my shots or Iāve left too long a gap, but usually itās a max of one week between them so I had a rethink as my pains increased Iāve not felt well for weeks and despite increasing

tapering too rapidly after synovitis?
I have now had PMR for about 3 1/2 years; several months ago my hands became very painful, and I was diagnosed eventually with acute synovitis. I was told that if I did not go onto high doses of Pred. I might lose the use of my hands, so I agreed. This is the regime I am on: 20 mg pred for 2 weeks,

So I'm in hospital.. (first ever overnighter)
So following my last post things haven't got better (obviously). Went on a UK holiday with family for a week and had a few incidents. Crazy high heart rate, chest pains, panic attacks. Visited emergency care centre whilst away and after an ECG they suggested that I need a cardio appointment. Went to
